The Grass Was Dead on the Other Side WARNING: Do NOT read this post if you plan on being proud and rejecting what you read! Hell will be hotter for you. DO CONTINUE to read if you have a soft and humble heart. This post contains a VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE. Amen. Isaiah 40:6-8, " The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. Amen..interesting thoughts. There's definitely something different about reading out of your physical Bible. I put a mark in the front each time I read through it. I also like peaking at other people's Bibles, but haven't got to do it much because I feel awkward doing it without permission. It just feels really personal for some reason?
ReplyDeleteOh yeah… I hope I wasn’t implying that it’s okay to just pick up a stranger’s Bible and read it! I wouldn’t do that of course… I just try to see it (like when they’re using it).
DeleteI’m pretty famous for observing and analyzing people, looking at their spiritual life, and reading thoughts/figuring out body language. I especially enjoy doing this when they don’t know I am! Ha ha (I love to be unnoticed…)
I ask permission before even looking at my Dad’s Amazing Bible with all of his super tiny meticulous notes.
It’s a privilege to get to see it! -Hope π
