03/01 Daily Exhortation (Heb. 3:13; 10:25; Matt. 6:11; Luke 11:3).
This 3/1, Let’s See that the New Versions had All Begun in Genesis 3:1.
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman,
👉Yea, hath God said👈⁉️, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
God had said in Genesis 2:17, "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."
But Satan is a subtle serpent. He is both FORK-TONGUED (as a serpent) and split-hoofed (as a cherub with calves’ feet; see Ezekiel 1 and 10 and 28). So, Satan is the MASTER OF DOUBLE-TALK and DOUBLE-WALK… Ever met somebody like that? Foe / Faux Fiend Friends, Pretender Partners, Phony Family; they all abound today.
The spirit which now worketh in the children of disobedience is Satan (Eph. 2), the father of lies (John 8:44).
Before posting this in the past, a man approached me (cigarette in hand) at the Walmart parking lot. He saw our Bible magnets and had a burning question⁉️ The most important thing to him was regarding the Sabbath and not worshipping on Sunday. He said the biggest deception by Satan on mankind was deceiving folks on the Sabbath. I gave him truth against his position, but his mind was like concrete: thoroughly mixed up and permanently set. Satan's biggest deception was attacking God's words in the garden. And, The Centuries Old Same Serpent Saga is attacking God's Word today with Viper Versions.
Long before Moses penned the Pentateuch (1st 5 books of the Bible), Satan was “publishing” to our parents and parading proud papyri.
Note that Satan approaches Eve with a NEW VERSION of what God SAID. He uses the POSITIVE APPROACH while questioning the word of God. It would have been more in line with what he was saying to say, “NAY, hath God said…?” If you have ever been interviewed by professional TV folks, they will ask you a question with a bias against you while NODDING THEIR HEADS “YES.” This is communications training and a sneak snake technique to lower the guard of the person being questioned. The Bible establishes the precedent as this started in Genesis 3.
Satan’s job is to introduce DOUBT of God’s word.
Holy Ghost Axe to the Root of All Rebellion: the belief that God is withholding something good/better from you. See the serpent in Genesis 3. Satan convinces Eve that God is withholding something from her. But he must first QUESTION GOD’S WORD.
Every. Single. Time. Period.
And in every single time period.
Each Epoch hath this Epic Evil Epitath❗
Satan appears as a serpent which is also called an “adder” in the Bible. There is a play on words there. Proverbs 30 warns of “Add thou not to his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” Proverbs 30 is a strong warning against the JEZEBEL PROFILE. Eve matches moves with the “Master of Lies” and adds to God’s word. She answers Satan with, ‘God said…Neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.’
That is NOT what God said. “Lest” means “for fear that.” It is not ABSOLUTE. God said, “…Thou shalt SURELY DIE.” Not, “Lest…” If Satan can get us to question God’s word, diminish ought from it, add to it, we are in BIG TROUBLE.
Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
Deuteronomy 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
So, Satan re-translated what God said, and so did Eve. Satan had a different VERSION of God’s word, and so did EVE. Sound familiar?
Ecclesiastes 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
For the Mathletic Eagle-eyed, there is a subtle 19 there for FAITH in Numerics. Every era requires faith. The double-tongued Devil deploys doubt in every dispensation except post-millennial eternity.
Ecclesiastes 1:10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
Satan will not be working with YEA AND NAY. He mingles the two.
Matthew 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine:
the soul that sinneth, 👉it shall die👈.
The ASP likes to ASK to ASSAULT.
Will You 🫵 Trust GOD’S WORD COMPLETELY TODAY or get that “positive” denial from Satan, the ADDER, the split-tongued, split-hoofed deceiver? Do Not ADD to what God said or try and water it down IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, FORM, or FASHION.
