Be dead to the world!

 So I was meditating on my Dad’s teachings on Dinah going out to see The daughters of the land (in Genesis 34) all morning long, and lo! That very same teaching was IN MY DAD’S CHARGE TODAY!!! 🔥 God is so big. 

Here’s Dad’s section: 

“Genesis 34:1 And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land.

Huge mistake for Dinah, daughter of Jacob. She went out to SEE THE DAUGHTERS OF THE LAND. She became a SEX OBJECT and much DEATH/CURSE ENSUED.  I have witnessed many a young lady head that route. Actually, MOST. When campus preaching the Glorious Gospel, we sometimes asked a show of hands of how many were virgins. ZILCH. NADA. CRICKETS. Usually, the only virgins were the ones we brought. They follow the world and not the word...”

Yes! We should NEVER look at the world and get our fashion advice, picture taking advice, modesty advice, or advice about

Anything! We are to be DEAD to the world. 

Dead. 

As you look around, the young people are all the same… Consumed with so many things from the world, flesh, and devil. Distracted. Pursuing vanity. Foolish. 

And the Christians? Unfortunately they are not doing any better! 

But God always has a Remnant. There are a few in every generation who say, “No! I will reflect Christ! I will seek Jesus over EVERYTHING! I will be loyal, honourable, pure, and faithful! I will not seek the world!”

There is a better way.
