 Wow! And The Lord is so amazing!

I had a Dream last night that John 15:5 was providential with my Dad, and turns out it WAS in a lot of ways, including being the SECOND verse in my Dad’s charge!!!! 😮 🔥 GOD IS BIG.

And I even hashtagged “glory” today which ties in well! 

Truth too! I really like that quote by my Dad: “Proud hearts hiss when Praise Hits”! That’s good. 😊

There is a GOOD Kind of BOASTING…

01/29 Daily Exhortation (Matt. 6:11; Luke 11:3; Heb. 3:13; 10:25)… 

What can we find in this 1:29 for this 1/29? 

1Corinthians 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

👉NO FLESH 👈 will glory/boast in God’s presence. 

Jesus taught in John 15:5 that apart from Him, WE CAN DO NOTHING. 

Isaiah 10:15 Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood.

1 Corinthians 1:31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

Some are glorying/boasting IN THE FACT THAT LEAVEN IS IN THEIR MIDST!!!!

1 Corinthians 5:6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

House of Saul setup churches consider their tolerance of leaven a BADGE OF HONOUR. Go figure. They wear Compromise like it was a Clerical Collar!

Jeremiah 9:23-24 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:

But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

2 Corinthians 10:17-18 But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.

Psalm 34:2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

Note that Humble folk are glad to hear BOASTING in the LORD. Proud folks hate it with the EVIL ENVY of an ENEMY. 

Proud Hearts Hiss when Praise Hits... 

Psalm 44:8 In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.

Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

By the way, we cannot even Praise God without His supplied breath and grace:

Hebrews 13:15 👉By Him👈 therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name.
