09/18 Daily Exhortation (Heb.3:13; 10:25; Matt.6:11; Luke 11:3)…

To follow is a 9:18 for 9/18…

1 Corinthians 9:18 (KJB)  What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.

AAAHHHHHH. I simply LOVE this verse and have for a many a moon. I love Paul’s heart. Want a reward? STOP TRYING TO MAKE A BUCK OFF OF SAINTS AND AIN’TS. The local church IS NOT TO BECOME A BUSINESS. You see, quite frankly, when you take a local BODY of believers, and try and turn that BODY INTO A BUSINESS, this is straight up HARLOTRY. We’ve got many a steeple-house on a street corner that are a BODY TURNED BUSINESS harlot. DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN, snatch your BRIDE OUT OF THIS MESS.

 

There is literally NO REWARD IN THIS per our focus passage and elsewhere. This abuse of power is also called Nicolaitanism. Nico means “victory” or “power” and the “lait” is like laity meaning “the people.” In short, abuse is POWER OVER THE PEOPLE. And Paul says making the gospel to be free of charge makes one free of the abuse of power. 

Revelation 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.

Revelation 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.

Note that GOD HATES the deeds of the Nicolaitanes. Will you hate what God hates today? 

Ahhh. The PITFALL$ OF PROFE$$IONAL CHURCH. We’ve stood hard against it and it has brought major persecution (more rewards above though; ALLELUIA!). The House of $aul always persecutes the House of David (2 Samuel 3:1). Phari$eei$m (Profe$$ional Organized Religion) always joins with Herod to attack Christ/Christians. Satan has brought this type of onslaught for MILLENNIA. 

2 Cor. 6:3 3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed…

1 Thessalonians 2:9 For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.

1 Corinthians 4:11-13 11 Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace; 12 And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: 13 Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.

The apostles (the church is built upon their foundation per Eph. 1:11) did not live HIGH ON THE HOG.

Do you want to be 501(c)3 or FREE? Take not a single penny. 

Get the DOLLAR $IGN$ out of your eyes, and the DEAR SAVIOUR in your eyes, and you will be CLEAN RICH instead of filthy rich WITH REWARDS UNTOLD IN GLORY. 

Out of 12 tribes, 9.5 got their inheritance ON THE OTHER SIDE OF JORDAN. But Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh got their reward on THIS SIDE of Jordan. 9 IS FOR FRUITFULNESS in Bible Numerics. Want the MOST ETERNAL FRUIT? Get your inheritance on THE OTHER SIDE. For the House of Saul yoked up to Herod, for the Pharisees, verily verily THEY HAVE THEIR REWARD now. 9/18 works well because that would math notate down to 9 and 9 and 9 (9/18). Get the most fruitfulness by investing into ETERNITY. 

Matthew 10:8 …Freely ye have received, freely give.

Stop trying to make a buck off of the Brethren/Heathen turning MINISTRY into INDUSTRY. Will you lay up treasures ABOVE today, Beloved?
