Abraham is a father of faith, a true patriarch. God gave him a promise and HE STAGGERED NOT (unbelief) at God’s promise thusly giving GOD GLORY. God is only pleased by a diligent faith (Hebrews 11:6).
We CANNOT give glory to God with double-mindedness and staggering at God’s promises.
James 1: 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
God calls double-mindedness being a FORGETFUL HEARER (James 1). How quickly do you let your FAITH WANE? How quickly do YOU FORGET?
Satan is the MASTER of taking many, many promises of God and SCREAMING AT FOLKS via doctrines of devils and apostate church teachings THE EXACT OPPOSITE.
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
FILL YOUR MIND/HEART/MOUTH with the WORD OF GOD daily. DAILY. Not weekly and NOT WEAKLY. Get that rightly-divided word aligned and BELIEVE THE DOCTRINES OF GOD over the doctrines of men.
Pray as inspired by the Holy Ghost within:
Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost…
Mark 6:52 For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.
Hebrews 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
God has wasted SIGN AFTER BLESSED SIGN on folks that are forgetful, slothful hearers and let matters slip. Sick, sick, sick, six six six. (Pukewarm).
Hebrews 2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
