04/07 DAILY EXHORTATION (Heb.3:13; 10:25; Matt. 6:11; Luke 11:3)…

A 4:7 for 4/7…

1 Peter 4:7 (KJB)  But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

I exhort you today, Brethren, to be sober (bringing every thought captive to the obedience of Christ per 2 Cor. 10 *which is the 47th book* and full of the Spirit per Eph. 5:18), and WATCH unto prayer.

Why? The end of all things is at hand. 

You see, the last days began 2000 years ago. Over and over, it refers to *back then* as the last days. There are many fulfilled prophecies in this final stretch which sets the prophetic tone. 

We are looking at a 47 construction here. Also, if you look at “1 Peter 4:7,” the numbers are 147. Watch what God has done with His Sovereign Hand upon the chapter/verse numbering, etc.  Jacob is Israel. Jacob’s death is recorded in Genesis 47. Psalms 47 mentions Jacob. Psalms 147 mentions Jacob. Jacob dies at the age of 147!

So, Sovereignly by the Omnipotent Hand of God, History is HIS STORY. Of course, the only infallible source of history is the Bible itself... So, in ’47 or 1947, Israel is gathered together as a nation. They make their plea for official status in 1947 and it is granted in 1948. When you study Bible Numerics, 47 and 48 both point to Israel/Jacob. 

By the way, the King James Bible had 47 translators. James is JACOB in Greek/Latin. King James' reign is called the Jacobean Era. Hmmmm..... 

The “fig tree” generation of Matthew 24 (see Jeremiah 24 for Israel identified as the fig tree as well) would be the generation when Israel becomes a nation. Jesus said that generation would not pass away until all these things were fulfilled. God will withhold many secrets of course as He deems fit. So, a generation can be 100 years (the Bible says there were 4 generations in Egypt which was 400 years). A generation can be 70 or 80 per Psalms 90. In short, God is hastening the day when He shakes things up majorly.  It says in Psalms 102 that when the Lord builds up Zion (Jerusalem), then shall He appear in His glory. Well, 1967 is when Israel captured Jerusalem. I realize there is a dual application to the church, etc. But to ignore the prophetic significance of Israel is to commit scriptural, intellectual, spiritual suicide. I actually asked a Calvinist elder at a local "Grace" church about the prophetic significance of 1948, 1967. He said there was NONE WHATSOEVER. Calvinists by and large ignore (there are exceptions) the Sovereignty of God while feigning themselves champions of God's Sovereignty. Selah. 

So, how long do we have? 1947 plus 80 would be 2027. 1947 plus 100 would be 2047. Back out 7 years of tribulation, etc. We are getting closer and closer regardless. Well, to God, a day is a thousand years and a thousand years a day. So, He is HASTENING THE DAY, friends. It is not time to get hasty with dates, etc. We are in the END TIMES sure as you live and breathe. Certainly listen for God’s whisperings and ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS watch and be ready. The modern lukewarm church wants Jesus to delay His coming. They love false prophecies as it gives them an excuse to lower their guards, love their sins, smite their fellow brethren, walking in overall spiritual drunkenness, etc. 

Jer. 5:31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

Rom. 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Philippians 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

I love, love, love these two verses for decades: 

James 5:8-9 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

5:9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

Be sober. Watch. PRAY. The end of this dispensation/age is nigh at hand, -r <3
