Entering the Promised Land

08/08 Daily Exhortation (Heb.3:13; 10:25; Matt.6:11; Luke 11:3).

To follow is an 8:8 Construction for Instruction (2 Tim.3:16) for 8/8…

Deut. 8:6 Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

De 8:7 For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;

[FOCUS PASSAGE]:*Deut. 8:8 A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;*

De 8:9 A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.

De 8:10 When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

In Bible Numerics, 8 points to NEW BEGINNINGS. Jesus was raised up on the 1st day of the week, which follows the 7th day, which would be the 8th day or NEW BEGINNING of the week. A child was circumcised on the 8th day. Circumcision of the heart is called being BORN AGAIN which represents being a new creature in Christ to a newness of life or NEW BEGINNING. The "new creature" verse is in the 8th New Testament book. The new beginning of the earth was the 8 souls on Noah's ark, etc.

⚠️DAILY JESUS WALK ALERT⚠️ Without an alarm clock, God awoke me at 8 AM Exactly this 8/8 day and I instantly thought "New Beginnings" while praying the GOSPEL. I later resurrect this 8/8 teaching! Jesus THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING - BLESS/GLORY IN HIS NAME! <3

Our focus passage on 8/8 is 8:8 (double NEW BEGINNINGS). 

This passage is doctrinally first and foremost aimed square dead at the nation of Israel. We learn from the New Testament revelation that Israel is a type/symbol of the “Israel of God” church/Bride of Christ. Thusly, we can latch on quite nicely with the metaphors and instruction. 

The Christian’s promise land is HEAVEN. Our Canaan land is HEAVEN. We taste of the powers of the world to come now (Heb. 6), and we experience that Rest (Heb. 4, etc.) now, and we experience the abundant life in Christ now (John 10:10, etc.). 

We have wheat, barley, bread (word of God), fruitfulness (fruits of righteousness and the Spirit), oil olive (Holy Ghost), honey (word of God and the sweetness of our Saviour), brooks of water (Spirit of God and word of God), and precious treasures (spiritually speaking). And, not only do we experience this now, all of this will be literally granted ON THE OTHER SIDE OF JORDAN. 

Note we are to BLESS THE LORD OUR GOD in verse 10. BLESS GOD for how much HE HAS BLESSED YOU. 

The next verse grants a sober warning: 

Deuteronomy 8:11 (KJB) Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day…

In the middle of spiritual blessing, don’t forget staying HOLY unto the Lord. Never forget what the Lord has done and what awaits. Will you have a DOUBLE NEW BEGINNING TODAY by appreciating the spiritual good gifts from the Father and by pressing into His Kingdom with great fervor? 

Romans 14 tells us the Kingdom of God is not in meat and drink but righteousness, peace, and JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST. We can taste and see that the Lord is good and fellowship with Him THIS SIDE OF JORDAN to whet our appetite for the eternal new beginnings of heaven, new earth, new universe. 

Isaiah 61:7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

Will you give place to God today for DOUBLE NEW BEGINNINGS this 8/8?
