07/29 Daily (Heb.3:13;10:25;Matt.6:11;Luke 11:3) Exhortation.

Here is a 7:29 for 7/29…

Ecclesiastes 7:29 (KJB) Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.

What Does Man Really INVENT? Man and his “inventions.” First off, man can take ZERO GLORY. Daniel 12 says that knowledge would increase in the last days. By the way, Daniel 12 contains 411 words by DIVINE DESIGN. The “411” information would increase mightily in the LAST DAYS. Still don’t think we are in the LAST DAYS? Whether 5 seconds, 5 years, or what have you, we are getting CLOSER. But man’s inventions…. Anything that can be used for good, God gets the glory. Man thinks he thought it up, man thinks HE is in control. Not so. Proverbs 8 teaches that God’s wisdom is what helps man to “find out the knowledge of witty inventions.” But the context is THE FEAR OF THE LORD. 

2 Chronicles 26:14-16 shows were pride of cunning inventions will lead one down… 

“14 And Uzziah prepared for them throughout all the host shields, and spears, and helmets, and habergeons, and bows, and slings to cast stones.

15 And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.

16 But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God…” 

Man has “created” cunningly crafty ways to kill. Crazy sad. SICK SICK SICK 666. 

But there are plenty of inventions of man that are wicked. 

Psalms 99:8 says that God took “vengeance of their inventions.” 

Psalms 106:29 says that they “provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.”

 Psalms 106:39 says, “Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.” 

Ah. The Holy Ghost axe to the root. IDOLATRY. When you put ANYTHING AHEAD OF JESUS, THIS IS *IDOLATRY.* Give Jesus 1000% ALL THE GLORY and all of your devotion, church. 

Romans 1:30 speaks of a reprobate society with “…Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents…” 

God made man upright, but instead of standing upright, man stooped to the level of a beast. 

Eccl. 3:18 “ I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.”

Darwin (the fuller title of his famous book reveals he believed in favoured RACES and was indeed a RACIST) – he had it backwards. Man started off upright, sinned, and became a BEAST. God had to clothe Adam and Eve with animal skins which was emblematic of them becoming beasts. Man is referred to in beast terms throughout after this since the glory of God and the image of God is grossly tarnished. 

Which will YOU be today? Upright or a beast? Walk uprightly, and take great heed to the potential curse in man’s inventions this day, -r <3
