Stay Clean
Dear Dad’s (Randall Hartinger) Bible Study Today. Yes! Blessed!
💥🔥‼️☝️⚠️🙏🏔️🔝⌛✅🍯📖⚔️🛡️🏹🎯💯🆙
The Fear of the Lord brings a CLEANING.
07/01 Daily Exhortation (Heb.3:13; 10:25; Matt. 6:11; Luke 11:3)
For 7/1, let us consider a 7:1 passage and one of my personal all-time favorites…
Some think that the promises of God are so that we DON’T need to live holy. Contrariwise, receive:
2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
And yes, you need ALL of God’s promises. All scripture is profitable for “instruction in righteousness” per 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
There are no less than 39 verses with a 7:1 construction in the Bible. 39 reminds one of how many books in the O.T. which contains many of the promises for believers needed this hour. Indeed and in very deed, there is a SEA of promises, which see…
Genesis 7:1 says “And the LORD said unto Noah…” Exodus 7:1 says, “And the LORD said unto Moses…” Leviticus 7:1 says, “Likewise the law…IT IS MOST HOLY…” 2 Kings 7:1 says, “Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD…” Proverbs 7:1 pleads from God, “My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.” Jeremiah 7:1 says, “The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying…” Ezekiel 7:1 says, “Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying…” Daniel 7:1 states, “…Daniel had a dream…He wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.” Amos 7:1 “Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me…” Zechariah 7:1 says, “…The word of the LORD came unto Zechariah…”
Having all the promises (both O.T. and N.T.), Dearly Beloved, let “thus saith the Lord” cleanse us from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God this 7/1 day. THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS AT AN ALL-TIME LOW RIGHT NOW *ESPECIALLY* among Christians. The local church is figuratively spat upon, Bride of Christ members are slandered/railed against, etc. and so on.
Be ye sanctified by the washing of water by the word (Eph. 5; John 17:17, etc.), and have your body washed with pure water (Heb. 10:22). Our Creator did not give us these promises so that we can run around and just do what we jolly well please. The exceeding great and precious promises make us partakers of the divine nature per 2 Peter 1:4 and should give us great fear and trembling. Will we be found without spot at our Creator’s appearing?
