The Safest Place to Be? IN GOD’S PRIMARY WILL!!

11/18 Daily Exhortation (Heb.3:13;10:25;Matt.6:11;Luke 11:3)

This 11/18, here is an 11:18 upon which to LEAN: 

Job 11:18 And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety. Job 11:19 Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee. Job 11:20 But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.

The context is having pure hands, lifting up your face toward heaven without spot, getting wickedness out of your tabernacles, etc. This is all wrought by faith by God’s good grace/Spirit. The result is Job 11:18-20. The Law of Cause and Effect, the Law of the Harvest, the Law of Reaping and Sowing, CANNOT be broken. The WICKED flee when no man pursueth, but the RIGHTEOUS ARE AS BOLD AS A LION (Prov.28:1)…

Some questions are asked in Job 6:11… What is my strength, that I should hope? and what is mine end, that I should prolong my life?

One of the answers is found in the Bible Numerics of the chapter/verse construction of 6:11. You see, “holy” is found in 611 times in a King James Bible. By allowing the Lord to make you HOLY, you now have strength, hope, an expected end, a prolonged life; yea, ETERNAL LIFE. 

Our focus passage indicates the righteous SHALL ESCAPE, but contrariwise, THE WICKED SHALL NOT ESCAPE. Think Luke 21:36 by the way, and Ecclesiastes 7:26, 1 Thess. 5:3, etc… 

Some BOOK CONTEXT of our focus passage: 

Job 22:27-29 Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.

CHRIST ALONE IS OUR HOPE. 

Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory…

Psalm 3:5-6 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

Psalm 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

Leviticus 26:5-6 And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

Proverbs 3:24-26 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Decide, Brethren. 

I am resolved to be ADDICTED to Christ, and HIS BODY (the local church) and NOTHING ELSE (1 Cor. 16:15; 1 Cor. 6:12; Isaiah 26:3, etc.) Those who allow other addictions are ALWAYS UNFAITHFUL, inconsistent, and spiral down with a counter-Christ culture. 

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. PERIOD. And in every single time period.
