The Grass Was Dead on the Other Side WARNING: Do NOT read this post if you plan on being proud and rejecting what you read! Hell will be hotter for you. DO CONTINUE to read if you have a soft and humble heart. This post contains a VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE.  Amen.  Isaiah 40:6-8, " The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." I always wanted to be a princess. All of my young girl dreams were filled with royal princes, fighting knights, dancing ballerinas, handsome kings, and beautiful queens. A dreamer by nature, with a wild imagination (runs in the family), I spent my youth dressing up, dancing, and playing “princess” games with my sisters. Castles were incredible to me ...

Dad’s exhortation on Shadows of Jesus 💙

I am really getting sick of these highly emotional, fleshly, sinful, carnal, soulish, money hungry CCM artists today!

I love holy music, I love writing new songs, I love to sing, I love to play instruments for Jesus, and I love to hear REAL Christlike people sing and praise Jesus. But the nasty “Christians” singing today? It’s disgusting!  Run from people who think they are “worshiping God” with their emotions! -Hope 💙

Joshua – SYMBOL OF JESUS…

01/02 Daily Exhortation (Matt.6:11;Luke 11:3;Heb.3:13;10:25)…

On this day of 1/2, let’s CHEW on the meat of this 1:2…

Joshua 1:2 (KJB)  Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.

Joshua is a TYPE OF JESUS in so many respects. Joshua means “Jah is Salvation” or simply “SAVIOUR.” Jesus means the exact same.

Matter of fact, an ADVANCED REVELATION in a King James Bible is that two times in the N.T. when referring to Joshua, it says “Jesus” (see Acts 7 and Hebrews 4)…  This powerful connection is marred beyond recognition in modern per-versions (which thing I hate).

Even as Melchizedek is said to have no father/mother or descent of days, and even as Christ's goings forth are from everlasting (Micah 5:2), Joshua is the son of NUN (double entendre by Divine Design for NONE).

Our focus passage says that Moses is dead and commands Joshua to “ARISE, GO OVER THIS JORDAN, THOU, AND ALL THIS PEOPLE…” Moses saw the Promised Land afar off (but couldn’t go in). Moses is a metaphor of the LAW. The law CANNOT GET US INTO HEAVEN. Jesus AROSE and takes us into the Promised Land.

Joshua was a servant of Moses to be the successor. Jesus showed up and was obedient and humbled himself as a servant (Philipp.2, etc.) of the Father. Joshua takes the people over Jordan. Jesus was baptized in Jordan SYMBOLIZING HIS DEATH, BURIAL, AND RESURRECTION. Thusly, Jordan depicts death before heaven. Hence the recurrent theme in hymns of water signifying death (On Jordan’s stormy banks – meet you at the river, etc.). Many hymn writers actually STUDIED the Bible, unlike these modern CCM carnal “cool” Christians that couldn’t quote the King James consistently if their life depended on it (ahem and another message).

Joshua 3:7 And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee.

Jesus is MAGNIFIED as well (furthering the type/shadows).

Jesus had 12 disciples (all Jews).

Joshua 3:12 (note that TWELVE)…  Now therefore take you twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, out of every tribe a man.

On and on we could go.

Will you, this day, FOLLOW JESUS INTO THE PROMISED LAND? The law cannot get you in, but Jesus can.

ARISE, with Joshua, AND BE CARRIED IN.

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

I EXHORT you this day to appreciate God’s rich symbolism and cross on over Jordan into the Promised Land and even taste of those powers of the world to come TODAY (Heb.6:5; Romans 14:17, etc.), -r <3
