Satisfied Yet???

The Grass Was Dead on the Other Side WARNING: Do NOT read this post if you plan on being proud and rejecting what you read! Hell will be hotter for you. DO CONTINUE to read if you have a soft and humble heart. This post contains a VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE.  Amen.  Isaiah 40:6-8, " The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." I always wanted to be a princess. All of my young girl dreams were filled with royal princes, fighting knights, dancing ballerinas, handsome kings, and beautiful queens. A dreamer by nature, with a wild imagination (runs in the family), I spent my youth dressing up, dancing, and playing “princess” games with my sisters. Castles were incredible to me ...

Give Back to God. Give What? OUR EVERYTHING.

01/31 Daily Exhortation (Matt.6:11;Luke 11:3;Heb.3:13;10:25)…

Something to learn on 1/31 from this 1:31…

Mark 1:31 (KJB) And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.

Love, love, love THIS PASSAGE! I memorized the Matthew parallel at a very young age (spiritually-speaking) back in the early 90’s. Why? It screams volumes. When Jesus ministers to us, what can we do in return BUT MINISTER UNTO HIM?

Here’s the Matthew parallel:

Matthew 8:14 And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.

15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

And Luke…

Luke 4:39 And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

Luke 8:3 And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.

We are to honour the Lord with our EVERYTHING. “Honour the Lord with thy substance…” (Prov.3:9).

Didn’t Jesus heal you of spiritual leprosy (seems white, but is an infirmity)? Were we not as “unclean” per Isaiah 64:6? Were we not hot/feverish with the wrath of God upon us (John 3:36; Eph.2:3)?

Jesus suffered WRONG for us. We can suffer WRONG for Him.

Jesus gave His life for us. We should give Him OUR lives.

Jesus is not ashamed to call us brethren (Heb.2:11) and so we should never be ASHAMED OF HIM.

2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

Let’s focus in on our focus passage. Peter’s wife’s mother was sick of a fever. Jesus rebuked it, healed her, and she AROSE, and MINISTERED (SERVED) UNTO HIM.

When you MINISTER to the Lord, He will begin to SEPARATE YOU.

Acts 13:2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

The anointing comes to further minister to the Lord. We are a royal priesthood now (1 Peter 2:5,9).

Leviticus 7:35 This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the LORD in the priest's office…

The Lord IS OUR PORTION. We offer up spiritual sacrifices BY HIM (per Heb.13).

Will you ARISE and MINISTER/SERVE the Lord today? This is our REASONABLE SERVICE per Romans 12, -r <3
