GOT WISDOM? 

01/24 Daily Exhortation (Matt.6:11;Luke 11:3; Heb. 3:13;10:25)

1 Corinthians 1:24 (KJB) But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Let’s focus in on ONE ASPECT here: Christ IS – AS IN *IS* the (as in the definite article "THE") WISDOM OF GOD. There is literally NO WISDOM apart from Christ. NONE. 

Christ is the necessary worldview, the paradigm, THE vantage point in order to HAVE WISDOM. 

Jesus claimed (and rightly so) to be THE “I AM” in John 8:58. 

1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us WISDOM, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption…

Jesus is OUR EVERYTHING. Do you look to JESUS for your EVERYTHING THIS DAY? I beseech/implore/beg you SEEK JESUS AS YOUR EVERYTHING TODAY. And may HE BE WISDOM for you today. 

Jesus not only has the 7 Spirits of God UPON HIM (see Isaiah 11) but the very eyes of the Lamb ARE the 7 Spirits of God in Revelation 5. But think. One of those 7 Spirits in Isaiah 11 is the “spirit of wisdom.” 

Deuteronomy 34:9 says, “Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom…” Joshua is translated in the N.T. as “Jesus” in Hebrews 4 and Acts 7. He is a STRONG TYPE OF CHRIST. 

Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him…

Speaking of Christ, one of my all-time favorite passages: 

Colossians 2:3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 

ALL WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE IS FROM CHRIST. AS IN, *ALL.* 

Even Non-Christians are partaking of various levels of Christ’s knowledge/wisdom in that they must use LOGIC (logos or word is the origin), mathematics, grammar, order, which all come from GOD (Christ). Most do not give the PROPER GLORY to Christ.

Solomon is a type of Christ (types get tricky no doubt). 

1 Kings 3:28 And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment. 

There can be NO WISDOM apart from Christ or apart from the FEAR OF THE LORD (Christ is LORD) per Proverbs 1:7 and 9:10, etc. 

Give God the FULL GLORY for any and all wisdom today. But if you are not walking in the fear of the Lord, you are not walking in the spirit of wisdom. Take heed. 

Revelation 7:12 ...Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen, -r <3
