Satisfied Yet???

The Grass Was Dead on the Other Side WARNING: Do NOT read this post if you plan on being proud and rejecting what you read! Hell will be hotter for you. DO CONTINUE to read if you have a soft and humble heart. This post contains a VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE.  Amen.  Isaiah 40:6-8, " The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." I always wanted to be a princess. All of my young girl dreams were filled with royal princes, fighting knights, dancing ballerinas, handsome kings, and beautiful queens. A dreamer by nature, with a wild imagination (runs in the family), I spent my youth dressing up, dancing, and playing “princess” games with my sisters. Castles were incredible to me ...

Praying hard in the sunshine

Dear Dad’s (Randall Hartinger) Church Challenge. BLESSED!

Do you FEAR GOD on the Sunshiney Day?

12/18 Daily Exhortation (Matt.6:11; Luke 11:3; Heb.3:13; 10:25).

How about some 12:18 King James Cuisine for this 12/18?

1 Samuel 12:18 (KJB) So Samuel called unto the LORD; and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel.

This passage has always STRUCK me (pun intended) as intriguing. The Seer/Prophet, Samuel, must entreat the Lord for adverse weather to really get the people’s attention.

Moses stretched forth his hand back in Exodus 9 and God sent thunder/hail. Moses (and Elijah) will send forth plagues during the tribulation period – again – to get attention.

Exodus 14:31 And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.

Romans 15: 18 For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,

19 Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

Why does it TAKE SIGNS/WONDERS/TOKENS/ADVERSE WEATHER to get folks to OBEY GOD? I am not negating what God does. More oft than not, REGARDLESS of the signs, folks choose against fearing God…

Psalms 106:12-13 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise. They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel…

Ezra 10:9-10 Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem within three days. It was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month; and all the people sat in the street of the house of God, trembling because of this matter, and for the great rain.

And Ezra the priest stood up, and said unto them, Ye have transgressed, and have taken strange wives, to increase the trespass of Israel.

We know the Lord has his way in the whirlwind (Nahum 1:3), and we know the Lord gathers the wind in His fists (Proverbs 30 The Jewish Riddle).

Mark 4:41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

We SHOULD fear the Lord exceedingly and be blessed by God’s signs, wonders, tokens, fulfilled prophecies, etc. But friends, WHY DOES IT TAKE THAT? Isaiah 26 speaks of those that only pour out a prayer in trouble. God is NOT OUR SPARE TIRE.

Have you FORGOTTEN all the miracles that God has done? May we vow to NEVER FORGET, NEVER GET IMMUNE, pass every test, praise God during the persecution and hard times, and not forget Him or forget to FEAR HIM during the good times. He’s the God of the hills AND the valleys.

When times are hard, PRAY HARD. When times are good, PRAY HARD.

Will you PRESS INTO THE LORD and fear Him even on SUNSHINEY DAYS? –r <3
