Let’s GLEAN til we’re CLEAN this 12/14 from the following 12:14…

2 Samuel 12:14 (KJB) Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.

Nathan is delivering this dreadful pronouncement upon David for his adultery/murder, etc. David reaped a fourfold death in his seed for such causing of God’s ENEMIES to BLASPHEME. It doesn't PAY TO PLAY. Our walk must match our talk. Satan is split-tongued and split-hoofed and thusly has a double-talk and double-walk. This stems from a double-heart. Will YOU match moves with Satan or with Christ today? 

Psalms 51 is David’s repentance chapter. 51 is repentance in Bible numerics. I was literally thinking of this numerical concept the AM *before* settling on a verse construction for writing this. LOVE THIS JESUS WALK!!! <3 

Repentance and faith are NOT WORKS. If one called you, you turned 180, they handed you a FREE GIFT, you received it, can they now withstand you to the face and rebuke you with “YOU THINK YOU EARNED THIS GIFT!!!! YOU THINK YOU PAID FOR IT!!!!!”? Nay, I say unto thee, NAY. Repentance (changing mind and direction) from your sins (you don’t accept the free gift with your back toward God) and faith toward God are the ROOTS OF SALVATION. God grants repentance/faith while drawing. 

TRUE STORY: Folks that attack repentance HAVE SIN TO HIDE. Read that AGAIN. There is always something they ARE UNWILLING TO GIVE UP and hope everybody else in class did not study, did not prepare for the TEST so we can all fail together as misery loves company. And if you, by His grace, are passing the test, they have a BURR IN THEIR SADDLE AGAINST YOU. MARK THAT ON YOUR CALENDAR IN RED INK...

But EVEN TODAY, Christian (and non-Christian) folks will use David as an excuse and alibi for sin. Of course they ignore the law of the harvest and the law of cause/effect and the grave consequences. They also disregard how their behaviour seals the fate of a multitude of others who may otherwise not have been strengthened in their wills against God’s people. We are to be crucified unto the world and the world unto us (Gal. 6) and thusly, when somebody gets off into sin, this requires them to no longer be a part of any REAL CHURCH. All false anti-New-Testament churches accept unrepentant sin. ALL. But those that cleave to sin are put out and/or walk out. What predictably always follows is that since they are now “without” the church (Matt.18; 1 Cor.5, etc.), then the world LATCHES ONTO THEM. And of course, they latch onto the world, etc. 

Rebels REVEL in rebels. The church-disciplined gravitate to the church-disciplined. Hellbound sinners huddle with hellbound sinners. Fowls of a Feather Flock together. Slimey snots slither socially with other stinky sneaks. Selah. 

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. PERIOD. And in every single time period. 

Nehemiah 5:9 Also I said, It is not good that ye do: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?

Psalm 74:10 O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?

God is jealous over His own name. This is why the famous Psalms 23 says that God will lead us in the paths of righteousness for HIS NAME’S SAKE. 

Ezekiel 36:22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

Romans 2:24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

Christian folks (especially in these last days) often will selfishly pursue sinful lusts which cause the enemies of God to blaspheme God. Shall they escape God's judgment upon this? I trow not. 

We are to be good Christ-bearers. To name the name of Christ is TO DEPART FROM INIQUITY (2 Tim. 2:19) which is lawlessness… 

Watch your step because many others are. They HOPE, HOPE, HOPE and wish to Satan that you stumble and fall so they can feel “off the hook” rather than convicted by your holiness (glory to Jesus). They hope to Satan that the railing lies they hear are true to justify their own hypocrisy. How about YOU? 

Where are the AUTHENTIC, ARMOURED WARRIORS rather than so-called soldiers in the slime-pits of semi-secret sin? Be exhorted to BE REAL. We've all done stupid things in our past. FINISH THE FIGHT OF FAITH STRONG. 

Will you LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE so that your Father is glorified by what others see (Matthew 5:16) or will you be just another statistic that casts odium upon the cause of Christ by your hypocritical, selfish, sinful pursuits? –r <3
