You Need Positive and Negative
My Dad’s awesome word today! I’m tired of the softy effeminate Christians! Battles are not won with flowers, chocolates, and hearts. Period. It takes swords, armour, and blood shed. Selah…. -Hope ๐
You NEED negative. You NEED positive. Disconnect your Negative Battery wire, and you’ll GO NOWHERE. Same with positive. Be thou weary of the Joel O. Jell-O overtly positive folks as well. The prophets, apostles, and Jesus (God manifested in the flesh), were NOT KILLED because they brought baskets of rose petals, puppy dogs, sugar plums, fairies, softy-wofty-lofty-philosophy, and tidily-winks.
Satan's first attack on mankind was a subtle POSITIVE approach to questioning the word of God (what God said). Something is missing in the picture - the word "Yea" which is early modern English for "yes." If you consider that Gen. 3:1 says the serpent was the most subtle of beasts, you will understand why the grammar is wrong. He should have said, "Nay, hath God said?" This is why trained interviewers/interrogators etc. will question you while nodding their head yes.... That positive approach will cause folks to lower their guards. Satan has been attacking the Bible with "positive" approaches (all these new modern Bible versions for example) for many moons now.
“Yea” is not bad in the right context. Matter of fact, ALL THE PROMISES OF GOD are said to be “yea and Amen” (2 Cor. 1:20)…
Psalms 116:5 says, "Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; YEA, our God is merciful."
Watch the subtle serpent with the ESV here:
"Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; our God is merciful."
See the "yea" removed there? Satan covers his tracks often and other times leaves subtle clues. His FIRST WORD to mankind was an angel of light POSTIVE APPROACH of "yea" and then with verbal inspiration of devils on translation committees, removes the "yea."
But… His first attack to mankind was a POSITIVE ATTACK ON THE WORD OF GOD and then DROPPED “LORD” from LORD GOD. Eve matches moves and drops LORD. Selah.
Take heed, Beloved Brethren. - r
