Genesis 6:3 (KJB)  And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

This is a largely misunderstood passage. By God, let’s unpack a tad from God’s infinite mind here…. First off, there is a cutoff point where God’s Spirit will STOP STRIVING. There is a GOOD striving by the Spirit (earnestly contending for the faith, being set for the defense of the Gospel). But that cut off point is REPROBATION. God’s Spirit must draw one for them to be saved. God’s Spirit must grant to believe and grant repentance. All of this is true. Deny it and create the Calvinist imbalance and lie and they can then gainsay/resist your Bible balanced wisdom. 

Man’s days are 120 years. The longevity of man is about to be cut short post flood. Apparently, the water canopy that blocked UV light and caused double atmospheric pressure (making earth a hyperbaric oxygen chamber) was destroyed via flood, etc. Very, very few humans will live to 120. Moses died at 120. 

False teaching: Noah spent 120 years building the ark. I have heard even Creation Scientists state this. Simple math will overthrow this: 

Genesis 5:32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Noah was 500 when he begat his sons. 

Genesis 6:18 But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.

Noah’s sons helped him build the ark and got on the ark MARRIED.

 But, the flood hit when Noah was 600 (100 years after his sons were born). Thusly, if his sons married at 12 (doubt it – probably older), then 88 years would be the making of the ark (likely less). 

Genesis 7:6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

So, this 120 points to OTHER things. Let’s talk. First off, 120 JUBILEES is 6000. There are 6000 years from Adam to the second coming of the LAST ADAM (Christ). 

Another math breakdown is to look at Methuselah, which means “When he dies, it shall be sent.” If you calculate Methuselah’s generations, he literally died the year of the FLOOD!!! 969 years old. In short, he attests to the LONGSUFFERING of our merciful and glorious God. He is pitiful, BUT IT RUNS OUT. Take heed. 

The IDENTITY OF ONE HUNDRED TWENTY? 

120 has a REMNANT EMPHASIS.  Frequency/value  of 120? “JOY” is in 120 chapters.  Think jubilee and joy. “KING OF BABYLON” is in 120 verses giving an antichrist emphasis.  “EAR” is 120 TIMES. The Remnant has EARS TO HEAR. They have their ear to the bosom of the Bridegroom. “Husband” is in the Bible 120 times. The Husband is coming for the 120 (representing the upper room; representative number) and at the end of 120 jubilees (120 x 50 = 6000), the reign begins of the Kingdom, putting down the King of Babylon (antichrist in type), etc. 

“Yeah, well… I don’t believe in all those numbers.”  In Mark here, we see MATHEMATICAL MIRACLES missed in the memory. Math Miracles defy the laws of probability. 

Mark 6:52 For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.

THE MULTIPLYING MIRACLE WAS MISSING IN THEIR MEMORY. Therefore, it takes a hardened heart to discount the COUNTS. IT IS INCONSIDERATE OF OUR CREATOR to overlook such miraculous mathematics and to be NUMB TO THE NUMBERS.  TO BE NUMB TO THE NUMBERS IS TO BECOME DUMBER AND DUMBER doctrinally. Bingo. The modern church loves their sports idolatry numbers, their ridiculous and covetous spending habit$, etc. but hates God’s numbers. $elah.

Will you identify with the 120 in the upper room of a house (hint hint) with Acts 2? LET’S HAVE OUR IDENTITY WITH THE 120. LET’S BE RARE. PRECIOUS.  Let’s be Jesus’ JEWELS, FAR ABOVE RUBIES, an ORNAMENT OF GREAT PRICE. Let’s be PRECIOUS STONES BUILT UPON THE FOUNDATION INSTEAD OF WOOD, HAY, STUBBLE, ETC. The “Thief in the Night” is coming for TREASURES, NOT TRASH. Simply put, thieves don’t break in to take your trash. SELAH. 

Will you be the 120 in the 120 countdown? The Teacher is often silent during the test period (though He will still help). Before getting rebellious, I was a straight A student in school. During some tests, if stumped on some questions, I learned to raise my hand and ask the teacher some things like, “Can you rephrase this question or clarify? I really studied but I am trying to see what you are asking?” (words to that effect). Invariably and inevitably, the Teacher would hint me to the right answer. PRAY TO THE TEACHER (Jesus) DURING THE TEST. He really, really wants you to PASS THE TEST. 

The Finals are forthcoming. Time is running out for man in this age/dispensation. The Teacher is about to say, “TIME'S UP. TURN IN THE TEST PAPERS.” And FINALS (Judgments) will be oral accounting and questioning. Brethren, church scattered abroad, GET READY by Jesus’ grace/Spirit. You have all the test answers (all that pertains to life and godliness) in your King James Bible. STUDY HARD (2 Tim. 2:15) for those FINALS. Love and prayers, -r <3
