Satisfied Yet???

The Grass Was Dead on the Other Side WARNING: Do NOT read this post if you plan on being proud and rejecting what you read! Hell will be hotter for you. DO CONTINUE to read if you have a soft and humble heart. This post contains a VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE.  Amen.  Isaiah 40:6-8, " The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." I always wanted to be a princess. All of my young girl dreams were filled with royal princes, fighting knights, dancing ballerinas, handsome kings, and beautiful queens. A dreamer by nature, with a wild imagination (runs in the family), I spent my youth dressing up, dancing, and playing “princess” games with my sisters. Castles were incredible to me

From Dad:

Lo, this Day of Mothers doth mark an Opportunity to Honour my Missing Rib. Our Lord Jesus, the God of Numbers, hath aligned our numbers omnipotently as depicted in the Adjacent Painting.

Verily, it is written “Giving honour unto the wife...” (1 Peter 3:7). On this day dedicated to Motherhood, might it be fitting to bestow honour upon my beloved wife. Verily, the Lord, in His infinite wisdom, crafted but one such maiden as her, and thereafter ceased such artistry, casting off the casted mold to avoid duplication by another. That uniqueness hath been proven in part by the attached paintings.

How shall I recount the tale of our Initial Intro? Yea, in the year of our Lord, 1987, upon exiting the Library within the House of Learning entitled Salem High, mine eyes didst behold a Georgian Specimen of Gorgeousness, yea, a beautified Babe-a-lonian, as the subculture would surname. As the Lord did direct the steps of one proclaiming disbelief in Him, I retroactively discern His Divine Plan. From afar, a maiden’s voice did cry out, drawing mine attention to Heather, and her friend did declare Heather’s admiration for me, much to Heather’s shamefaced surprise!  Beholding this fair-haired damsel, whose hair was likened in my mind unto a skateboard ramp, and in the vernacular of the 80’s, this maid was “smokin’ hot” like unto my skate chariot wheels, Mine heart was moved as cartoon heart emoticons didst hastily emenante from my being. The Hands of time stopped, the crowded hallway froze, as my heart skipped a beat. I did declare her beauty aloud. Alas, such a dame would grace her gaze upon my countenance?! I cannot contain. The Lord, in His Delicious Sense of Holy Humour, did match Yours Truly with Perfection making her the Lord’s Labrat and God’s Guinea Pig, yea, El’s Experiment to which I am the Blessed Beneficiary.

In our youthful endeavor of courtship, yea, first date after the theatre, I did seek to seal our affection with a gentle kiss, but alas, she turned away… That night, my heart was heavy with sorrow. It dawned on me that I was seeking the affections of a maiden, rare and precious, more valuable than rubies. Time didst reveal her purity and virtue, for until this day in 2024, no other man hath shared her embrace, yea, she hath not kissed another man.

In the Golden Autumn season of 1989, Heather did become a vessel of the Lord's wisdom. After resisting the pull of the Almighty, it was she who God used to show me the light of the Lord. When I did resist her counsel, the Lord intervened, halting our journey with a blow to our carriage, oft called a “blowout” in the common Tongue of Modernity. My Chevrolet Impala was hindered hitherto, rendered stranded. I reasoned as a fool: There existed matters of which I refused to repent. Heather, in Southern Bell sweet-framed fashion, enquired, “Are they worth burning in eternal hell over?” In that moment, her words pierced my soul, leading me to seek salvation later at my abode and embrace the redeeming Gospel and love of my Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ.

After four years, our souls were bound in holy matrimony, and soon thereafter, the Lord did bless us with conception, yea, abundant fruitfulness. As it hath been said, "Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table." Psalm 128:3.

Heather hath remained steadfast in her love and loyalty. Her heart, full of compassion and fervor, stands as a testament to true femininity. Hence, this Tribute. Blessed with wisdom in “help meet” provision, surnamed “Coupon Queen,” she did excel in her anointed stewardship. My heart is ever trusting in her, for she is the virtuous woman spoken of in the 31st of Proverbs in Ye Ol’ Holy Scroll. This prudent wife, my gift from the Lord, is also oft surnamed “Pertiness Incarnate” by her Doting Dear “Hubby” as Mountain Local tongues are prone to utter.

On this day, I adore thee, Heather, mine beloved, with hazel eyes that burn with the Holy Ghost fire. Our love is a flaming force that cannot be quenched. Let us continue our journey, hand in hand, into horizons unknown, always and alway under the protective Hand of the Almighty. O fair maiden, chosen by the Divine, my heart overfloweth with love and gratitude. Happy Day of Mothers, Thou Most Cherished Love under only God Himself. At thy humble service, Randall, aka Randy.
