Last night Dad & I played a game of chess and I was put into checkmate in under two minutes! 😅

ReplyDeleteChess is PERFECT occasionally for building dendrite bridges in the brain, basic/advanced tactical strategy, etc. And Boggle. And, duck, UNO. And Bible Win/Lose/Draw. We draw the line there - get it⁉️ No time ⌚ for video games.
I played Bobby Fisher, the USA chess champion back in the 6th grade in a "gifted" (whatever that meant) summer school chess club. He played the entire class on separate boards. He took 5 seconds to move. You had til he got around the room. He said that he would beat us all. 👀 The last playing got an ice cream with the champ. HE PLUM DESTROYED US. Low blow to the ego. - dad ☝️
