Satisfied Yet???

The Grass Was Dead on the Other Side WARNING: Do NOT read this post if you plan on being proud and rejecting what you read! Hell will be hotter for you. DO CONTINUE to read if you have a soft and humble heart. This post contains a VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE.  Amen.  Isaiah 40:6-8, " The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." I always wanted to be a princess. All of my young girl dreams were filled with royal princes, fighting knights, dancing ballerinas, handsome kings, and beautiful queens. A dreamer by nature, with a wild imagination (runs in the family), I spent my youth dressing up, dancing, and playing “princess” games with my sisters. Castles were incredible to me

The Bondage of Sin…

 Dear Dad’s (Randall Hartinger) Teaching today. Please be BLESSED.

Sin is BONDAGE and NOT FREEDOM.

05/06 DAILY EXHORTATION (Matt. 6:11; Luke 11:3; Heb.3:13; 10:25)

DAILY JESUS WALK ALERT!!! Glory to God alone. So, attached is a 14 year old memory of today's  anniversary date, which is about SIN which is what this exhortation is about!:

Sin will take you farther than you intended to STRAY, keep you longer than you intended to STAY, and cost you more than you intended to PAY.

Sin is also stepping back from light. Taking LIGHT LIGHTLY will quickly turn to LIGHTNING. Selah, Backsliders. Repent.

On 5/5, we looked at how 5 points to death. For 5/6, let’s think upon how that 6 points to man/flesh in Bible Numerics. That “death” coupled with “flesh” points to sin since “the wages of sin is death” and the “body of sin” is called a “vile body” and “the body of this death.” Also, Israel in dual application points to the church. Let’s study.

Here are 5 “5:6” constructions and see the common SIN theme:

Ex 5:6 And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying,

Lev. 5:6 And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.

Num. 5:6 Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;

Deut. 5:6 I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

Joshua 5:6 For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD sware that he would not shew them the land, which the LORD sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

Egypt is Emblematic of the World. Pharaoh Figures Satan, the taskmaster of cruel bondage. The bondage points to sin in Bible type.

Exodus 5:6 is about the wicked taskmaster oppressing God’s people. Leviticus 5:6 speaks of trespasses, sins, and atonement “concerning sin…” Numbers 5:6 speaks of sins and trespasses against the Lord. The focus passage here will be Deut. 5:6 where God proclaims He is the Lord Who brought us out of the house of bondage. Joshua 5:6 speaks of Israel in the WILDERNESS OF SIN (hint, hint) for 40 years and how they obeyed not God’s voice (sin) instead of going into the Promised Land (heaven in type). See how God marvelously sews these 5:6’s together and all in a row in book order?

How about YOU today? We are called to the liberty of living above sin via the Glorious Gospel and daily crucified/resurrected life. He who the Son sets free is FREE INDEED. John 8:31-32 says if we CONTINUE in His word, we will be His disciples INDEED and will know the truth and the truth will MAKE US FREE. The Holy Spirit is called the “free Spirit” in Ps. 51. “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is LIBERTY.” (2 Cor. 3). –r <3
