Isaiah 5:13 (KJB) Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
Rough numbers in Bible numerics. 5 is usually affixed to death. 13 is generally rebellion.
Lack of KNOWLEDGE causes captivity and the honourable men are famished and thirsty and dry.
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Isaiah 1:3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
Jeremiah 4:22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

The apostle Peter warned that we are commanded to GROW IN GRACE AND IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS and to feast upon the word to grow thereby.
Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Vision points to the WORD OF GOD, our vision and our source of vision.
1 Samuel 3:1 And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.
Am 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
Am 8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
The PROPHESIED FAMINE IS HERE RIGHT NOW…
Proverbs (etc.) teaches that the FEAR OF THE LORD is the beginning of knowledge/wisdom. Per our focus passage, allegorically-speaking, you will go into bondage/captivity due to NO KNOWLEDGE. Stop this Bible agnosticism. Stop walking about in doubt. Believe EVERY WORD OF YOUR BIBLE FROM BEGINNING TO END. Faith WILL ENSUE. Stop walking around FAMISHED AND THIRSTY when you have the INFINITE FOOD/WATER of the word. ARISE, BRIDE OF CHRIST for SUCH A TIME AS THIS, -r <3
