Are Our Arguments Aligned with the Almighty? 

02/25 Daily Exhortation (Heb.3:13;10:25;Matt.6:11;Luke 11:3)…

May this 2:25 come alive this 2/25: 

2 Timothy 2:25 (KJB) In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth…

Having meekness takes sacrifice. Matter of fact, 25 in Bible Numerics points to sacrifice (the altar of sacrifice was 5x5 cubits or 25 square cubits). There are exactly 25 verses with a 2:25 construction by the way BY DIVINE DESIGN. 

God is a GOD OF REASON. Matter of fact, Jesus is the WORD (John 1:1, etc.) which is Greek “logos” from whence LOGIC cometh. Paul “reasoned with them out of the scriptures” in Acts 17:2…

The perfect Bible worldview is a necessary pre-assumption or pre-commitment for all logic. 

One of the most BASIC laws of logic is “the law of NON-CONTRADICTION.” I like to bottom-shelf things (being a product of the public sewer system) and so I call it “THE LAW OF NO LIE.” In short, paradoxes are seeming contradictions. But to defy the law of non-contradiction is to be deceived and deceive.

 

Note we are to have “meekness” (power/authority under control) when instructing those that OPPOSE THEMSELVES in self-defeating fashion. Galatians 6:1 says that a brother who is spiritual (logically anchored in the crux-center of man) should restore a brother in fault while taking heed to himself lest he be tempted. 1 Peter 3:15 says to sanctify God in our hearts and be ready always to give an answer (defense) of our hope with “meekness and fear.” Jude 22-23 says to save/deliver others who are under God’s judgment with “fear.” There must always be a meekness and fear and trembling. 

Ever notice when folks are in sin and fleeing exposure, accountability, local church brethren, parental authority, government authority (you name it), they will NEVER, and I mean, NEVER, provide a seasoned, meek justification replete with fear and trembling of God’s words? They NEVER can surmount the duty to exhibit any reasons with a mouth of wisdom which cannot be gainsaid nor resisted.  *NEVER.* This screams VOLUMES. Where is the defense of their departure or excuse to evade exposure? Nada. Zilch. Crickets. After all, they will suggest that YOU are in error and opposing yourself. Surely THEY can obey the commands and try and restore a wayward brother/sister (allegedly you), right? No, *THEY* ARE WAYWARD and they know this in their heart of hearts and so their actions show their true beliefs. Thusly, they have nothing to say. 

Let it not be so named among us, Brethren. Always be instant. Always be ready. Live holy and welcome reproof/accountability. This is a TEST to see if we’ll choose the BEST. 

When you see a brother err from the truth, restore him in meekness and show his logical fallacies and especially the most common one: defying the law of NON-CONTRADICTION or opposing themselves. Since God must grant repentance, it is essential they acknowledge the truth and turn from such logical fallacies. 

There are many, many flaws of logic. Questions will draw out and demonstrate the self-defeating nature of folks’ positions. When folks avoid questions (we call this the AVOID DANCE spirit of AVOIDANCE) they have something to hide. 

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. PERIOD. And, might I add, in every single time period. 

Acts 18:5-6  And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ. 6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean; from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

When self-defeating arguments are exposed, and they refuse to repent, you/they must move on. They simply will not hear. Keep praying for them, but avoid them. 

1 Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called… 

Folks will mis-identify matters by defying the LAW OF IDENTITY. Misdirection fallacies abound in folks that are bound in various sins. They must get the light off of them/their pet sin and onto something different very QUICKLY. Ad hominem arguments will arise (name-calling with nothing brought to the table of discussion)…  On and on. 

Jesus is the LORD OF LOGICIANS and our example of perfect use of the LAWS OF LOGIC, reflecting His mind/Spirit. How about YOU/US this day? 

1 Peter 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind... 

1 Cor. 14:20 …In understanding be men.

2 Tim. 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind…

Matt. 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

How about some MEEKNESS today, instructing them that OPPOSE THEMSELVES and let logic flow via the Lord’s word today? –r <3
