Nehemiah 8:6 (KJB) And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the LORD with their faces to the ground.

All this talk today of “God Bless *THIS AND THAT*” – But who is BLESSING GOD? Psalms 103:1-2 is the very heart of the Bible. There are 31,102 verses in the Bible and being an even number, there are TWO CENTER VERSES of the Bible by God’s Divine Providence. They state: 

103: 1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits…

Every day, we are to BLESS GOD with every fiber of our being, spirit, soul, and body. Of course, apart from Him, we cannot even do this (see John 15, etc.). We can’t bless Him without Him. 

Here is an 8:6 to ponder as well:

 

1 Corinthians 8:6 (KJB) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

We are to ask (spirit), seek (soul), and knock (body). Worship the Holy Almighty with our whole anatomy!

Note in our focus passage they ALL said AMEN, they lifted up their hands, they bowed their heads, they worshipped with faces to the ground (prostrate). 

Folks are too proud to seek God ENTIRELY. HUMBLE yourself and BLESS THE GREAT GOD, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST TODAY, much in EVERY WAY. 

Carnal folks will not bless God. Watch this 8:6…

Romans 8:6 (KJB) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Hebrews 8:6 (KJB) But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

James 3 says to bless God with our tongue, 1 Cor. 14 says to bless God with our spirit, Psalms 103 to bless God with our soul and ALL THAT IS WITHIN US. 

Did you know you cannot even give God praise WITHOUT HIS HELP? John 4 says to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Incense is emblematic of PRAYER and the altar of incense was lit from the altar of SACRIFICE (pointing to Christ on the cross). Watch this subtle teaching: 

Hebrews 13:15 *BY HIM* therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

Only by God can you offer the sacrifice of praise to God CONTINUALLY. 

Can you, BENEFACTOR OF A BETTER COVENANT AND BETTER PROMISES, offer Him the sacrifice of praise or just some lame, lukewarm, stale and blemished sacrifice?
