Learn When to Sheath the Sword of the Word...

10/11 Daily Exhortation (Heb.3:13; 10:25; Matt.6:11; Luke 11:3, etc.)

Pray to heaven this 10/11 about the following 10:11, Brethren, and rid your house of LEAVEN. 

2 Kings 10:11 (KJB)  So Jehu slew all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his kinsfolks, and his priests, until he left him none remaining.

⚠️ DAILY JESUS WALK ALERT ⚠️ The AM I first posted this, I prayed for all men in the remnant church in the earth that the SPIRIT OF JEHU and Phinehas BE UPON US ALL. And, as the Lord would Providentially time, I was messenging a saint early that AM regarding the fact that MANY men STILL haven’t BROKEN THE HABITS OF AHAB and the spells of Jezebel AND STILL they need to REPENT. Fast forward to 2022. I resurrect this date charge from last year, and yesterday, our family Bible reading was in 2 Kings 9 and today in 2 Kings 10 BOTH OF WHICH ARE IN THIS CHARGE!! 🔥 <3 LOVING JESUS. 

Spiritually speaking, metaphorically, we need to take the HOLY GHOST AXE TO THE ROOT and hew to pieces via the SWORD OF THE LORD (BIBLE) this AHAB spirit of our day. ESPECIALLY IN THE HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH. 

God prophesied such and commanded such: 

2 Kings 9:7-8 7 And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel. 8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish…

2 Kings 10:16 And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD. So they made him ride in his chariot. 17 And when he came to Samaria, he slew all that remained unto Ahab in Samaria, till he had destroyed him, according to the saying of the LORD, which he spake to Elijah.

EASY THAR, KILLER. Take a deep breath. Count from 10 backwards. HOLD YOUR HORSES, Men. The furious chariot driver, Jehu, overstepped his bounds some. Even as David wasn’t allowed to build the House of God because he was “bloody,” even with House of David zeal, Jehu gets a condemnation along with commendation from God because HE WENT TOO FAR. Before you jump in the chariot with Jehu and see their zeal for the Lord, make sure they don’t get too OVERZEALOUS. We only need the GOOD TRAITS of the patriarchs in the Bible, and not be the one who IMITATES THE BAD TRAITS. 

We have witnessed this for 3 decades now and at times jumped on the overzealous bandwagon ourselves (lessons learned). When you yoke up with and defend bloody men, it will come back and haunt you. Very, very, very costly. Emulate excited zeal, but not OVERKILL. 

God commends Jehu… 2 Kings 10:30 And the LORD said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in mine eyes, and hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in mine heart, thy children of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.

But watch the very next verse… 

31 But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the LORD God of Israel with all his heart: for he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam, which made Israel to sin.

Sadly, there is still a heart issue. Jehu overachieved what God wanted him to do. 

I have seen many (most) a patriarch start well and end in fleshly idolatry. Take heed. 

Watch what happens. 

Hosea 1:4 And the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.

Wait, WHAT?! God is a God of perfect equity/balance. Imbalanced zeal is judged by God. Moses was to speak to the Rock, but smote it twice, and it cost him the promised land. 

Romans 10:1 (subset of 10:11 for illustrative purposes) and following speaks of a zeal not according to knowledge. 

As you go after Ahabs spiritually-speaking, remember mercy. Walk in the Spirit, and don’t end the race in the flesh. Be a Jehu in zeal against Ahab/Jezebel, BUT DON’T OVERSTEP. End well.

And learn to from GREEN FLAG GEAR to GRANNY GEAR when appropriated by the Holy Ghost (we learned this especially open air preaching across the USA). 

In short, DESTROY AHAB/JEZEBEL (spiritually-speaking of course) BUT REMEMBER THE LESSONS OF JEZREEL. 

You cannot afford lost reward. Thusly, know when to sheath that Sword of the word, -r <3
