Do you HATE THE BIBLE? 


10/28 DAILY EXHORTATION (Heb.3:13;10:25;Matt.6:11;Luke 11:3)…


A 10:28 on which to meditate this 10/28…


Hebrews 10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses…

Note that the offenders DESPISED MOSES' LAW. You see, to disobey God’s word is TO DESPISE GOD’S WORD. To break God’s commandments is to HATE God’s commandments. 


Proverbs 13:13 Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.


HMMMM. 13 is REBELLION in Bible Numerics. There is a double 13 double rebellion here in DESPISING THE WORD OF GOD. To disobey God’s word is TO DESPISE/HATE IT. 


Jesus taught that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh. And God’s word proceeds out of His mouth (Matt. 4:4; Luke 4:4). Thusly, God’s word IS AN EXTENSION OF HIMSELF. And to despise THE WORD OF GOD IS TO DESPISE THE GOD OF THE WORD. Watch the progression here: 


2 Samuel 12:9 Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.


2 Samuel 12:10 Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.


Psalms 50:16-17 16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? 17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee.


Numbers 15: 31 Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.


To BREAK GOD’S COMMANDMENTS IS TO DESPISE/HATE THE WORD OF GOD. 


Behaviour follows BELIEF. If you BELIEVE THE BIBLE, but BREAK THE BIBLE’S COMMANDS, YOUR BEHAVIOUR BETRAYS that you not only BELITTLE THE BIBLE, BUT HATE IT. 


Psalm 119:140 Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.


LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THE BIBLE TODAY. OBEY IT, and you show forth that you LOVE IT, -r <3
