10/22 Daily Exhortation (Heb.3:13;10:25;Matt.6:11;Luke 11:3)…

Exodus 10:22 (KJB) And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:

Exodus 10:23 (KJB)  They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

Ahhhh. Goshen. God’s people had LIGHT even when there was GROSS DARKNESS. 22 in Bible Numerics can go in different directions, but for our focus passage, we’ll focus on one. One of the meanings of 22 is LIGHT. Now, God’s people tasted of 3 of the plagues, but not the last 7. There was great light in Goshen.

 

Job 3:23 speaks of God giving light to man who is hedged in.  

First off, providentially and for illustrative purposes, there are no less than 22 verse constructions with 10:22!!

Job 10:22 (KJB)  A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.

Contrast is an amazing teacher. God’s light is glorious superimposed or in contradistinction to darkness. The starry sky is like a Jeweler would spread diamonds across some black felt. BEAUTIFUL. 

It is of interest that Genesis 10:22 begins to list the children of Shem. 10=Gentiles. 22= Light. So, from the lineage of Shem (Semites) comes Jesus, the LIGHT TO THE GENTILES. 

Your Bible is a THREEFOLD CORD NOT QUICKLY BROKEN (Eccl.4:12). 66 Books is 22 THREEFOLD (22x3=66). It is Light (22) compounded on the Godhead (3) with Resurrection Power (3)...

The Golden Candlestick (type of the word of God) in God’s Tabernacle contained 3 sets of 22 ornaments (flowers, knops, bowls) to produce LIGHT. 

“Eyes of the Lord” is a phrase used 22 times in the Bible. The Lamb has eyes that are called lamps and are fiery and connected with the 7 Spirits of God which all circles back to the word of God. “The eye” is 22 times in the Bible. “The light of the body is the eye” is found in Matthew 6:22 (22!). “Mystery” is 22 times in the Bible and when we are faithful stewards of the mysteries of God (1 Cor. 4), we get LIGHT on the scriptures. 

Job 22:22 (KJB) Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.

When the Light of the World speaks, it is marvelous LIGHT: 

Matthew 22:22 (KJB) When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.

The Hebrew alphabet has 22 letters. Psalms 119 (all about the word of God) is broken up into 22 sections.  The phrase “word of God” is found in 22 books in your Bible!!!

Your 22nd Book into the Bible is Song of Solomon. So, the Bride of Christ (Church) walks in LIGHT. God’s Beautified Bride is GLORIOUS. 

I exhort you to WALK IN THE LIGHT of God’s COUNTENANCE AND COUNSEL today.  Bask in the Bible Brilliance, Brethren.
