Hunting???
Dear Dad’s Study Today. Amen! BLESSED!
💥🔥⚠️✅📖🍯🆙✝️💯👑⚔️🛡️🏹🎯☝️🔊🕛🙏
Hungry? Or Have you Hunted, and had it on the Hot Coals?
12/27 Daily Exhortation (Matt.6:11; Luke 11:3; Heb.3:13;10:25)…
How about a word from HEAVEN from our King James 1611 this 12/27 in the following 12:27?
Proverbs 12:27 (KJB) The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this passage for many a moon. It's THE HOLY GHOST AXE TO THE ROOT of pitiful patriarchy, boring Bible study (ahem) blah-blah-blahs, filibuster flimsy "feeling" Neo-evangelical weak sauce "sermonnettes" from the Sermon-of-the-Month club.
John 21:9-12
9 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.
10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.
11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.
Let’s get the parallels. Jesus hunted down something, but wanted THEM TO ADD THEIR CATCH. It's all from Jesus anyway, but God wants us to ADD. Joseph, type of Christ, means "The Lord ADDS."
During church time, feast of charity, exhorting, teaching/preaching, or just ANY DAY of fellowship, what do YOU have roasting? In short, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO ADD? Men, women, WHAT’S THE HOLY GHOST STIRRING UP IN YOU? Hunted some meat? Got some FIRE?
Keep in mind that Proverbs are “dark sayings” (Proverbs 1:6; John 16:29). One must PLUNGE beneath the PLAIN surface to gather the Precious hid treasure. The focus passage states a slothful man will not hunt, roast, etc. Much study is a weariness of the flesh per Eccl.12:12...
“Meat” typifies the word of God in the Bible (Hebrews 5, etc.) for those full of age. Milk (Hebrews 5, 1 Peter 2:2; Isaiah 28, etc.) symbolizes the word but for the immature. Milk is PREDIGESTED FOOD (indirect revelation) from another whereas Meat is direct revelation and eaten directly. There Is nothing wrong with being a newborn babe in Christ and needing milk (another to hunt/roast the meat, masticate it, digest it, and produce milk). There IS, however, something wrong with folks that never graduate beyond Gerber’s Stage One basic baby building block Bible.
Of course, we tire of praying for GROWTH and start to pray for BIRTH, but that’s a different message regarding Counterfeit Converts.
The Bible commands to “study” to shew thyself approved unto God, a “workman” that needeth not to be ashamed (2 Tim. 2:15). A diligent study of scriptures HUNTS for revelation, handles it with FIERY unquenched zeal of the Holy Ghost (roasts it), masticates the meat thoroughly, lets the fires MUSE within as they meditate therein, etc. A slothful student will waste God’s valuable time, not redeeming the time, and will only build upon another’s labours/foundations.
While there is nothing wrong with IMMITATION, there IS something wrong with COMPETITION. But that is another message altogether…
Where’s the PRECIOUS SUBSTANCE? Where are the fruits of serious scriptural labour?
You will never get anything SUBSTANTIAL (substance) from a slothful student of scripture.
Galatians 2:6 But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me…
You can always tell if a man/woman has spent time in the word of God. It will ALWAYS ADD SUBSTANCE to you. It shows up IN EVERYTHING THEY DO. It shows up in their HOUSES, spouses, etc.
Now, we are not suggesting you only hammer what is upon your own anvil, as God has raised up teachers (Ephesians 4), but where IS YOUR PERSONAL HUNTING AND ROASTING?
Proverbs 26:15 The slothful hideth his hand in his bosom; it grieveth him to bring it again to his mouth.
Are your hands handling the word of life this day?
Hebrews 5:12-14 12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
What are you HUNTING DOWN in the MEAT of God’s word this day? Are you filling your house with PRECIOUS SUBSTANCE as in the TRUE RICHES (Luke 16:11)? Cast off that spirit of slothfulness, and SEEK YE OUT OF THE BOOK OF THE LORD, AND READ (Isaiah 34:16), -r <3
