The Grass Was Dead on the Other Side WARNING: Do NOT read this post if you plan on being proud and rejecting what you read! Hell will be hotter for you. DO CONTINUE to read if you have a soft and humble heart. This post contains a VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE.  Amen.  Isaiah 40:6-8, " The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." I always wanted to be a princess. All of my young girl dreams were filled with royal princes, fighting knights, dancing ballerinas, handsome kings, and beautiful queens. A dreamer by nature, with a wild imagination (runs in the family), I spent my youth dressing up, dancing, and playing “princess” games with my sisters. Castles were incredible to me ...

Binding the broken 🩹 / Pray for Roo! ❤️

 Hello, y’all!

He cares. ❤️

Speaking of binding up the wounded… (sigh.)

Roo has been going through a hard time, so thank you for your prayers. 🙏🏻❤️ Praise Jesus for all trials!

He contracted a respiratory infection recently, which I’ve been treating all of this time. This has been very hard on both of us, and time consuming and difficult and stressful. He’s being treated with antibiotics as chickens never get colds like humans they actually instantly get an infection.

Well, yesterday, in his weakest state he was brutally attacked by one of the Roos (I will leave his name anonymous for now…), and blood was literally everywhere! First I couldn’t find him and thought he was dead (so bad for my anxiety levels!) but then I finally did find him shoved up next to a shed, limp, and with blood flowing out of his comb. Sigh. Cleaning him up and getting the blood to finally clot was a nightmare, and when I looked into the mirror and my face was completely covered in blood! Oh my.

He’s in a chicken hospital right now being lovingly treated and spoiled. Thank you for the prayers!!!! 🙏🏻🩵🩵🩵

I thought he was dying one sad day… :( But he’s better than that now…!

  4. Awww, thank y’all so much for your prayers and comments! Roo is grateful! He’s seeming better already, but infections (respiratory and through wounds) are a very scary thing… 🩵🩵🩵
