Satisfied Yet???

The Grass Was Dead on the Other Side WARNING: Do NOT read this post if you plan on being proud and rejecting what you read! Hell will be hotter for you. DO CONTINUE to read if you have a soft and humble heart. This post contains a VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE.  Amen.  Isaiah 40:6-8, " The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." I always wanted to be a princess. All of my young girl dreams were filled with royal princes, fighting knights, dancing ballerinas, handsome kings, and beautiful queens. A dreamer by nature, with a wild imagination (runs in the family), I spent my youth dressing up, dancing, and playing “princess” games with my sisters. Castles were incredible to me ...

Solitude 🩡

 Hello, y’all! πŸ™‚

Some of my favorite ways to have solitude are:

Praying early while staring at the gorgeous city lights in the valley; writing in my spiritual journal; sitting on our porch with coffee while watching the chickens; playing hymns on the  piano with headphones or playing my guitar outside for the animals; reading my Bible in silence; walking through the woods and meditating; and praying in a secluded closet. πŸ™‚

Any thoughts on what you like to do to be still, Saints? 🩡🩡🩡

  1. 🩡 I was reading something about 'the secret place' earlier today. I have a secret place, but it's... well, a secret. πŸ˜„

  2. Love your ways of having solitude, Hope!
🩡🩡🩡 A lot of my favorite ways as well, like peaceful mornings while reading my Bible with a cup of coffee, sitting out in God’s beautiful creation admiring His handiwork, feeling the warm sunshine (nothing quite like sunshine!☀️), writing, (love spiritual journaling too!) hand lettering, and of course simply praying. 🩷✨

Well, to be honest trying to get a moment of solitude at this stage of my life is quite difficult πŸ˜… but mostly just reading or prayer when my kids are asleep! If I lived in the country I'd do similar things but it's more difficult in the city unfortunately.
