12/06 Daily Exhortation (Luke 11:3; Matt.6:11; Heb.3:13; 10:25)

This 12/6, let’s affix betwixt our ears Jesus’ words in this 12:6…

Matthew 12:6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.

Ahhhh. Jesus. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS JESUS WALK!!! Jesus is GREATER than the temple. This made the hearers madder than 13 hornets in a shook up pickle jar (shook up 666 times might I add)! Why? They would reverence the O.T. temple, but NOT Jesus Who was bringing in a new covenant. By the way, every piece of that temple points to Jesus/The Word of God. 

The next 12:6 after Matthew (Mark 12:6) says: “Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.”

Well, they DIDN’T reverence the Son. We should reverence the SON over ANYTHING. Jesus is the SUPREME DEITY, THE ONE and ONLY GOD, THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD. 

Note this 212 degrees Farenheit Boiling Point at Armageddon:

Psalms 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Jesus is coming back, AND...

2 Thessalonians 1:6-10

6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

Back to the focus passage. The temple of Jesus’ body is FAR SUPERIOR than the O.T. temple.

 

John 2: 19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? 21 But he spake of the temple of his body.

Don’t get me wrong. Jesus was NOT saying the O.T. temple was not GREAT. 

Matthew 23:17 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?

Jesus was saying HE IS GREATER. 

2 Chronicles 6:18 But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!

Haggai 2:7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

Romans 9:5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

Jesus said He was greater than Jonah (Matt.12:41) and greater than Solomon (Matt.12:42) and greater than Abraham (John 8:53,58) and greater than all His servants (John 13:16) and GREATER THAN ANTICHRIST: 

1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Quick King James Cryptanalysis:

Those 12:6's can be "6+6:6" or a 666 sequence.

Judas, the son of perdition, was enamored with the temple (Mark 13:1) but not Jesus, the son of perdition Antichrist will sit in the temple exalting himself above all (2 Thess. 2:4). 46 depicts the temple. Count every 666th verse, and you will land 46 times. The 666th chapter from the Bible's end is Psalm 46. So, God puts this 46 on the KJB map:

Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
