And I don’t feel a bit sorry for you if you’re stuck with one a’those.

06/25 Daily Exhortation (Heb. 3:13; 10:25; Matt. 6:11; Luke 11:3). 

A 6:25 for 6/25. Date-Tethered Devotion. 

Proverbs 6:25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.

Jezebel Juggernauts. A Vast Number of Victims & Countless Casualties. “Many are her slain” (Prov. 7:26) as Solomon so sagely stated. He would know, with Kingly Confession & hard-earned, School of Hard Knox Hindsight ‼️ 

Nehemiah 13:26 saith that outlandish women caused Solomon to sin. This is the exact verbiage & verbatim verdict. The sin of causing others to sin is quite grievous. 

How many men have we warned tenaciously as we have SOUNDED The SIRENS AGAINST The *SIRENS* for Over 3 decades now? 

⚠️L⚠️RMS ⚠️GAINST ⚠️LLURES‼️ 

Every man I have ever known to forsake the call – there is ALWAYS a lurking Spider Woman Proverbs 30 (short of Proverbs 31) odious “disquiet the whole earth” Jezebel  who covers her tracks & wipes her mouth with, “I didn’t DO no nuthin. I tellya what.” Over and over. 

For some reason, as iron mixed with clay, most Christian men of modernity want a Proverbs 31 Playboy Bunny, a Victoria’s Secret Virtuous Woman, a Jesus-loving (ahem) Jezebel, a Virtue-Vixen, a Tamed Tamar (Gen. 38:24; Judges 20:33), etc. You know the kind; they just want to “prey” with you with hands on ministry (ahem). Fierce, Fervent Facepalm‼️ 

Make No Mistake. We pray for their repentance. Jezebels rarely repent, adulterers rarely repent, whoremongers rarely repent, narcissists rarely repent, etc. However, the GLORIOUS GOSPEL and blood of Jesus is SUFFICIENT. Even in the Hebrews 11 Hall of Faith, Rahab shows up. See this 6:25 Scripture Spotlight: 

Joshua 6:25 And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

By the way, when James calls Rahab "harlot," it is the Greek "porna" which is telling. 

She repented of her harlotry. AMEN. Repent of porna & porn, pervert. Yeah, YOU 🫵❗ 

But USUALLY it is our focus passage 6:25 and THIS type of 6:25 here…

Mark 6:25 And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.

The fuller context of this 6:25… 

Mark 6:17-28 For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her.

18 For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife.

19 Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have killed him; but she could not:

20 For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.

21 And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;

22 And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.

23 And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom.

24 And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.

25 And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.

26 And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.

27 And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,

28 And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother.

Note Herodias had murder / hate in her heart, but COULD not kill God’s man. She appealed to Herod to do her dirty work. This is an ongoing saga with Adulterous, Polyandrous, Promiscuous Jezebels for many a millennia. You see, God wants all His people to be as prophets (not the office) per Numbers 11:29. But there will be a price. Satan will employ the depths of Satan (Rev. 2:24) Jezebel tactics to shut you down if possible. 

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. PERIOD. 

And in every single time period. 

Of note is the power of music and seductive dancing. Of note is LIKE MOTHER, LIKE DAUGHTER. Jezebels beget Jezebels of various stripes. Ahabs beget Ahabs of various stripes. Take heed. What you do in moderation, your children will do in excess. Thy Seed Shall Surplus, yea, Surpass Thy Sins. DO RIGHT & they will be exceeding righteous before the Lord. Sow iniquity, and reap it in your seed apart from God’s gracious intervention. 

Women, let God adorn you as a BEAUTIFUL, GODLY WOMAN. Men, stop falling for Satan’s strategies and these dime-a-dozens versus "far above rubies." We beseech you to BREAK THE HABITS Of AHAB & The SPELLS Of JEZEBEL some twixt  now and 666 weeks ago.
