05/31 Daily Exhortation (Matt. 6:11; Luke 11:3; Heb. 3:13; Heb. 10:25). 

Here’s a Date-Driven Devotional & Calendar-Coded 5:31 for 5/31. 

Ephesians 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

Let’s talk some Bible Numerics first. In Bible Numerics, 5=DEATH (generally). 31 points to several things, but one in particular is Jesus’ PROVERBS 31 BRIDE (the church) for which He died in 31 AD (Jesus was born 4 BC; long study). Jesus was pierced in His side for His Bride, His virtuous vessel, sanctified spouse, & crowned companion. 

Adam (Allegory of Christ) went into a deep sleep and his side was pierced as his “FIFTH RIB” became EVE (his Bride). The Last Adam took the crown of thorns to undo the curse of briars / thorns / thistles brought in by the first Adam. Adam lived 930 years and so the 930th chapter into your Bible is Matthew 1 because it begins with the generations of JESUS, Who is called The LAST ADAM.

A man is to lay down his life for his wife (Ephesians 5). There is no greater love than a man lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13). 

15=the Gospel and 13 can point to the charity chapter (1 Cor. 13), etc. Charity is a GIVING LOVE (even as “charity” Providentially is used today as giving). Just as God so loved the world that He GAVE His only begotten Son and just as Isaiah 9:6 says the Son was “given.” Paul so aptly said, “Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift…” 

I exhort you 🫵 today: CLEAVE To The LORD, JOIN WITH The LORD, as His church / Bride by His side, Paired in Purpose! 

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

I L😍VE how Alpha has Beth next to it. Jesus is the Alpha and Beth befigures the Bride (think Elisabeth or Bethel, etc.). This is decently and in order once you get your Bible ABCs down. The Bride by His Side! 

I exhort the married to walk as “one flesh” with your God-given covenant spouse. Heather and I have a “one flesh” walk where I can finish her sentences at times (& vice versa) when there is no clue as to what she is about to say!!!  We oft call one another in precise timing. We’ve observed such like-mindedness TIME And TIME And TIME again literally tens of thousands of times. Repeated Resonance; Continual Concord; Relational Rhythm. God pre-ordained before the foundation of the world that we be / are together, drawing nigh unto the church together, drawing nigh unto JESUS together.  <3 Beat, Beat, Beat. Covenant Cadence. 

Pray DAILY with thy Missing Rib, Patriarchal men. DAILY. Not weekly & not weakly. 

May we have a “one flesh” walk with the Lord, yea, in Sacred Sync, espoused as chaste virgins to Christ (2 Cor. 11; Eph. 5; Num. 11:29, etc.). 

Amos 3:3 asks, “Can two walk together except they be agreed?” Most think this means human fellowship but actually it is God saying He cannot walk with us unless we agree with Him. Akin to this is the fact that when 1st John says that if we walk in the light as He is in the light we can fellowship ONE WITH ANOTHER, he is talking about our FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD in context. 

Numbers 25:3 And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.

The Bridegroom cometh. Bride of Christ, the Israel of God (Gal. 6:16) scattered abroad, in the four corners of the earth, JOIN To The LORD. Yea, I say, JOIN To The LORD. Don't just Laodicean Lean in, but Link up, Latch on, and Lock in. Cling tenaciously to Him and lay hold onto eternal life handling the Word of God, the Living Logos, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Under His easy yoke,
