Is God your spare tire? 🛞

And it really does tie into my charge, as I’m into the sleepy Lukewarms who definitely do treat God as a spare tire!

That’s definitely highly convicting that we must pray hard even in the good times! 🙏🏻 

Neat that Psalm 130 Came up as a Bible phrase we studied equalled 130 in gematria yesterday, and I connected it to Psalm 130 (But, uh, I can’t remember the word… haha).

God knows what it takes to BURN YOUR BARLEY FIELD. He knows every possibilty:

Luke 10:13-14 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.

But... God is not a spare "Tyre." This is not merely a "Get Me Home" Gospel. 

Isaiah 26:16 LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.

Psalm 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

Hosea 5:15 I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

Hosea 6:1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

Well, surely we SHOULD PRAY in times of trouble…

Acts 16:24-25 Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

BUT…. The problematic pitfalls come when this is the ONLY time folks seek God. Is this CONSIDERATE TO OUR CREATOR, God-seekers⁉️ 

God is NOT OUR SPARE TIRE / TYRE. Do we love God to the point where we will PRAY AND SEEK HIM even WHEN TIMES ARE GOOD and skies are clear, MeDearBrethren? 

Never Park your Prayers. Stay in Gear, stay in your Lane, and never Idle your Devotion.
