Nope.

I know that God uses the despised, the nobodies, and the “under dogs” FAR more than the rich and proud snots! 🤢

04/10 Daily Exhortation (Matt. 6:11; Luke 11:3; Heb. 3:13; 10:25). 

Let’s see more then in this 4:10 on this 4/10. 

Zechariah 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

This is one of my favorite passages. SOOOO POWERFUL. SOOOO LOADED. So packed. Let’s unpack a few items only. 

The question is SO PROFOUND‼️ 

“For who hath despised the day of small things?”

It goes on to make the PLUMMET (measuring standard) be the eyes of the Lord in syllogism. Rev. 5 calls The eyes of the Lord The SEVEN SPIRITS Of God (which were upon Christ per Isaiah 11). And we know the “canon” or measuring standard to be the WORD Of GOD. Even as Moses had the rod (Authority of the Word in Allegory) in his hand:

Exodus 4:And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.

Mathletic Ones, yea, Numerical Nerdz, that verse is the 1604th verse into the Bible and the KJB translators commenced in 1604. This verse is 1 out of 76 verses which contain "hand." 1/76 is a subtle 176 or 16x11 or 1611 sequence. The King James Bible completed in 1611. That is, if thou canst tell (count)‼️

John 6:63 saith that Christ’s words are spirit and life. They are the selfsame Spirit manifestation of God. In short, what proceeds from the Heart of God is the PLUMMET.

On 4/10, at a job, we round the corner to see an architect holding a measuring tape measuring a brick structure. I said to family, "Note the plummet in hand, providential for today's charge!" Jesus is METICULOUSLY SOVEREIGN. 🛑 Stop Your Doubting, Thomas.

But let’s focus on “For who hath despised the day of small things?” Well, quite frankly, MOST HAVE‼️ 

You see, God’s Spirit, the Zeal of the Lord of Hosts, shall accomplish Major things via small, minor things. God does EXTRAORDINARY through the ORDINARY.

Matter of fact, Zechariah is called a Minor Prophet. Zechariah abbreviates to "Zech" which is 4 letters, the 11th Minor Prophet. 411 (Info) sequence. Whoops. Peeked over at the Soapbox again. Sorry. Where was we? 

The famous Zechariah 4:6 “Not By Might, Nor By Power, But By My Spirit Saith The Lord Of Hosts” precedes this verse. 

Zechariah is encouraging the people to Rebuild The Temple, The House Of The Lord. 

It may start with a plummet in the hand. 

The Temple Typifies the Pillar of Truth, the Church, the Israel of God (Gal. 6:16, etc.). 

God is saying in essence that even though they don’t have the Master-builder of Solomon, A GREATER Than SOLOMON Is HERE (Luke 11:31). JESUS. 

Luke 12:32 Fear not, 👉little👈 flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

1 Cor. 1:25-29 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

Paul means SMALL. And Paul wrote 14 books of the Bible and MORE TOTAL WORDS Than LUKE and thusly the MOST of the NEW TESTAMENT! While in bonds, Paul GRABS ENTIRE CONTINENTS In EITHER HAND And SHAKES UP The WORLD!!!!!! Paul was a Benjamite (the smallest tribe). Nowya catchin' on. 

Jesus taught that our two Widow's Mites are worth more than ALL sectarian groups' offerings COMBINED (Luke 21:2-4). Selah. 

King Saul despised the day of small things. Goliath despised the day of small things. Pharisees despise the day of small things. Judas loves the day of BIG THINGS (Mark 13:1). Where is the LORD GOD OF ELIJAH? (2 Kings 21:4). Elijah was reported of a “little cloud” (1 Kings 18:44) and said a great rain was coming.

Where are the Elijahs of the Lord God⁉️ 

A small seed grows into the MIGHTY OAK. A poor man’s wisdom is despised (Ecc. 9:16; James 2:6; Prov. 14:20-21; 👉 19:4,7👈). 

Matthew 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

 

Manna was small (Ex. 16:14), but LOATHED / DESPISED (Num. 21:5; John 6:41. 

Poverty makes people see a blessing in THE SMALLEST Of THINGS.

This mega-church mentality modern church age is cursed. Why? They despise the day of small things. 

Ministries compromise to add fluff numbers. They Cut Conviction Corners to quote unquote build and grow in quantity rather than quality. 

Folks want something much bigger than themselves. This is tricky. 

The KINGDOM Of GOD 👉IS👈 BIG (Matt. 13:31-32).

Luke 17:20-21 

20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Paul wrote Hebrews and calls it “few words” in Heb. 13:22. YET, It Is WEIGHTY And POWERFUL And MEATY. 

God reduced Gideon’s army to 1%. Which is MORE Important to God⁉️ 

Quality before Quantity. 

Betterment before Bulk. 

Mastery before More. 

Brilliance before Bigness. 

Value before Volume. 

Leaven puffs up the lump, yea, artificially inflates, with empty, hot air (1 Cor. 5) and no Doctrinal Density. Bible or Bloated Bread⁉️ 

Lack of faith makes folks not see the BIGGER PICTURE. The cross takes much away but is a PLUS SIGN which adds FOR ALL ETERNITY. Eternal bliss, ever-increasing kingdom (Isaiah 9:6-8), learning about God FOREVER, praising our King FOREVER. Take the lowest seat now. In the Grand Flip, the last will be first and first last. 

Jesus came humble and as a poor, carpenter’s son born of a woman of low estate. FOLKS DESPISED The DAY Of SMALL THINGS. 

Matthew 13:55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?

Psalm 119:141 I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts. 

The HOUSE Of DAVID Is SMALL And DESPISED. REMNANT And RESIDUE. The BRIDE Of CHRIST Is Now HUGE, BELOVED CHURCH, SCATTERED OVER The CORRIDORS Of 2000 YEARS. 

CHURCH, Who Hath DESPISED The Day Of SMALL THINGS? ALL Who Have FORSAKEN The ASSEMBLY Have (Heb. 10:25-31). ALL Who DESPISE The STRAIT And NARROW WAY For The BROADWAY. All House of Saul-oriented folks who despise the HOUSE Of DAVID. All who forget the PROVIDENTIAL PENNIES one finds along the journey. Babylon, USA, despises the day of small things. 

Church, let us cherish the day of small things. Let us appreciate the tiniest jot and tittle of the word (Matt. 5:18), the still small voice of the Lord (1 Kings 19:12), the bigger picture that is behind the tiniest of details, and we’ll more greatly rejoice in Jesus’ unending kingdom expanding for all eternity, as we inherit great things to come.
