04/09 Daily Exhortation (Matt. 6:11; Luke 11:3; Heb. 3:13; 10:25).
A 4:9 for 4/9:
Genesis 4:9 And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?
This is the first question any human asks of God. The answer is YES, WE Are OUR BROTHER’S KEEPER.
Now, Cain is said to be “of that wicked one” in 1st John 3:12. Abel is called “righteous” and his offering was answered by fire from heaven (inference) with favour from the Father. So, in the sense that we should be our Christian brother’s keeper, this is true. In the sense that unbelievers / infidels should be the Christian’s keeper / guarder, NO. So, it’s a tricky, thorny question, yea, prickly problem.
Cain killed Abel because he envied his righteousness and favour (1 John 3:12) and this murder began as hatred in the heart.
1 John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
Hebrews 11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
So, Cain asks God, "Am I my Brother's Keeper?" He is mocking God (Gal. 6:7). Most who queerily query God are Skeptic Scoffers.
Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
The first question in Psalms (largest book of the Bible) is regarding the heathen taking counsel against God’s anointed and the N.T. translates this as CHRIST. Thusly, the world is against Christ (anti-Christ) and against the righteous and in this age, His body (church / Bride).
EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. PERIOD.
And in every single time period.
The first question in the New Testament is about Christ when the wise men ask the whereabouts of the One Who is born King of the Jews.
The first recorded question in the Bible is SATAN questioning God’s WORD in Gen. 3:1 to successfully tempt Eve.
Sincere, non-accusing questions to God are acceptable. For example, Jesus, God manifested in the flesh (1 Tim. 3:16), on the cross, questioned the Father (Psalm 22:1, etc.). "My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?"
The first recorded question by God is, “Where art thou?” When God questions, it is NEVER for His instruction, but for OUR EDUCATION. Side Note: Open Theism is a Closed Bible doctrine that teaches God is ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. It is false doctrine and proposes that God asks questions because He does not know. Reject Open Theism‼️ God's questions are for OUR EDUCATION and God is INFINITE (not capped) in knowledge.
Leviticus 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.
John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another...
Acts 15:36 And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.
Acts 14:21-22 And they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch.
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Philippians 2:20 For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.
Proverbs 27:23 Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds.
On and on.
Continuing with our Key Text, WE Are INDEED And In VERY DEED, OUR BROTHER’S KEEPER.
Keeper in the King’s English means “Guardian.” We are to back up our brethren. Soldiers are falling left and right in this Aforetold Age of Apostasy (2 Thess. 2:3) and Prophesied Famine of Hearing the Word (Amos 8:11)!
Hebrews 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
This is why God commands to exhort daily. Folks are hardened via sin’s deception. Hebrews 10 exhorts us to exhort ALL THE MORE daily as we see the Day approaching. It continues to say to not forsake the local church (Heb. 10:25) or willful sin will destroy (Heb. 10:26-31). Getting non-Ahab and non-Under-the-Spell-of-Jezebel men to answer to the call or complete the call is like pulling teeth. It feels like DENTISTRY more than MINISTRY these days. [Hey, Judas. Yeah, you. Enjoying that silver yet? Didn’t think so].
REAL MEN, RISE UP.
You KEEP / GUARD what you love and value the MOST.
DON’T BE LIKE CURSED CAIN. Be your Brother’s keeper / guardian. Exhort daily with the word of God. Patriarchs, never go a day without gathering your family around the word of God and prayer. Exhort your church on a daily basis. Time is short.
