No Neutral Ground!

You say you are in “Neutral” but you are in REVERSE!

11/23 Daily Exhortation (Heb.3:13; 10:25; Matt.6:11; Luke 11:3)…

This 11/23, how about a FREE KEY in the following 11:23? 

Luke 11:23 (KJB)  He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

The Free Key? Here ‘tis… In absolutely all things that pertain to life, there is NO NEUTRAL GROUND. This will cover a multitude of error of judgment. 

Focus Passage Take Away: Jesus said not being FOR HIM is being AGAINST HIM and not gathering WITH HIM is scattering… 

Neutrality is pretense and a myth. 

I had a car shift indicator that needed to be aligned several years back. It was an emblematic symbol or what we call "physical type." You see, when I put it into “N” for NEUTRAL, it was actually REVERSE. That’ll PREACH RIGHT THERE!!!! When folks think they are in neutral, they are actually BACKSLIDING into REVERSE.

 

Also, folks can seem to be for you, but actually be against you. If the history is correct (big “if”), then this happened to Antiochus with Cleopatra I as prophesied by Daniel (and there is no doubt an end times double application): 

Daniel 11:17  He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.

But Neutrality? 

Revelation  3:15-16 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

It makes God sick. Godly means "like God." Does it make YOU sick? 

God doesn’t even like mixed fabrics in the O.T. because denim (cold) mixed with wool (hot) is lukewarm and “neutral.” These garments signify one’s life/identity… ⚠️ DAILY JESUS WALK ALERT ⚠️ Hope and I were discussing mixed fabric typology last night before resurrecting this charge today! Gotta love this DAILY JESUS WALK! 

The Jonathans abound today. You are either with the House of Saul or the House of David. Trying to straddle the fence doesn’t work. Jonathan WENT DOWN WITH SAUL. 

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Folks that feign neutrality are opposing themselves in self-defeating fashion. For example, folks say, “I tolerate everyone.” Yet they don’t tolerate any intolerance. In short, their position of tolerance cannot tolerate our position of intolerance. Our position of intolerance cannot tolerate their position of tolerance. Which is CONSISTENT? 

Better be on the side that God is on. Better be on the side that worships God, fears God, and loves His holiness. 

Joshua 5:13-15  And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?  And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

Ever experienced a horrible tragedy/atrocity and had folks say, “Well, I am not here to take sides.”? Well, they took their side. There is NO NEUTRALITY. It is impossible to not have a bias, a paradigm, a perspective, a worldview. EVERYBODY HAS A WORLDVIEW. The question is “Can their worldview handle internal critique?” When you say you are not taking sides and one side is right/true/correct, guess what? YOU TOOK THE WRONG  SIDE. 

Joshua 24:15  …Choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Been here many a time as folks love to betray the House of David:

1 Chronicles 12:17 And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but if ye be come to betray me to mine enemies, seeing there is no wrong in mine hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.  

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that verse. God rebukes neutrality, God rebukes backsliders, God rebukes those antagonistic to His people. 

1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

Pretended Neutrality is really just passivity, apathy, lethargy, yea – LAZINESS. 

1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

Remember that even the NEUTERED (neutral) eunuchs around Jezebel eventually picked a side and cast her down! 

2 Kings 9: 32 And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is on my side? who? And there looked out to him two or three eunuchs.

33 And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down…

Neutrality is NONSENSE. Get on the Lord’s side sometime between NOW AND NOW. 

One time in Roanoke they held the “First Annual Pagan Event” (and by God’s sanctifying grace, it was the LAST ONE). You know, witchcraft, occult, etc. It said, “All Faiths Welcome” on a large banner. So, we took them up on that offer (ahem). We walked in and politely were sharing our faith and handing out Gospel tracts. We found out that all faiths were welcome, EXCEPT THE TRUE FAITH. We were kicked out very very quickly after less than a half hour. Neutral, my left foot!  ;^)

Neutrality is a MYTH.
