The Mysterious Pointe Shoe 🩰/ 21 Days!!!!!!!!

 Let’s look at my pointe shoes in 3 different stages… haha 

First we have the brand new, unbroken, stiff, and beautiful shoe. Gorgeous- but ya can’t dance In them! Haha (Yes, Capezio is my favorite brand. Personal opinion…)

After a little banging, stomping, dancing, darning, ribbon and elastic sewing, and squashing the box: we have the shoes I’m dancing in right now. Lotsa work to get there! 

Then, behold the dead pointe shoe: mutilated, beat down, dirty, broken, super soft, and fun to dance in (though it offers no support!). To me they look gorgeous still, they represent lard work and dedication. :) 

As in Evolution all things get better with time, ya know? ;)
