Pray! 🙏🏻

 Sobering and important word today by my Dad! 🔥 Take a Read, y’all! 👀 

So true that sin will block your prayers, and such a good word on praying for those who can’t pray! 🙏🏻 

Reminds me of this verse: “Open thy mouth for the dumb In the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.”

🙏🏻 PRAY for those who can’t Pray! 🙏🏻 

There IS a sin unto death, and this is one very heartbreaking place for people to end up. Sigh. More need to hear these truths to safeguard against such! 

Of note is that Psalm 66:18 has the split-word phenomena of “FIRE” right there with “If I Regard”! 🔥

Pray For/Cry Out to God for Your ENEMIES.

01/17 Daily Exhortation (Matt.6:11; Luke 11:3; Heb.3:13; 10:25)

From heaven, glean from the following 1:17 on this date of 1/17:

2 Samuel 1:17 And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son…

The House of Saul persecutes (pursues) the House of David. It is LONG WAR (2 Sam. 3:1). Yet, learn from David here. David LAMENTED that his enemies never REPENTED. And David mourned the loss of fence-riding Jonathan. Very VERY *VERY* sad. 

There can be a point where God will instruct to NOT PRAY. 

Jeremiah 11:14 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

Watch 1st John 5: 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

First off, sin blocks prayers. Secondly, intercede for brothers that sin. But DO NOT PRAY for them when it is a sin unto death. 

Remember when God rebuked Samuel for crying about Saul’s rejection from God? In short, God told him to DRY IT UP.

Never chase after a Judas. 

But we get something in our focus passage. David was weeping for Saul’s demise and for the fence-riding, non-committal Jonathan who, though he loved David (as Saul initially did til the "honeymoon phase" was over), he went DOWN WITH SAUL the same day. We’ve Seen that MANY A TIME for MANY A MOON. 

One reason we must pray for our enemies is because God is NOT HEARING THEIR PRAYERS:

Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Psalms 66: 18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: 19 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer. 20 Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me. 

Job 27:8-9 For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul? Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?

Proverbs 15:29 The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

Isaiah 1:15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

Deuteronomy 9:19 For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also.

Ever prayed and prayed for people for years and they ended up finally sinning against God, you, the church, etc. in the long run? Well, this is an age-old, ever-repeating serpent's servants saga for millennia now. Don’t give up though. Never hesitate to supplicate unless you have a good reason from the Lord otherwise. 

Supplication (to sub-placate or humbly ask for God’s displeasure to be thwarted) before reprobation is of utmost importance. 

House of David, get stronger. Hit your face with heartfelt compassion for your enemies and never rejoice in their demise. It is QUITE SAD to watch them spiral down into oblivious oblivion (fence-riding Jonathans as well). Cry out to God for your enemies today and peradventure God will grant them repentance on their road to reprobation,
