Spirit, Soul, Body!

Great study by my Dad and today! 

Dad’s teachings on Spirit, soul, and body are some of my favorites!!! Really. 


It’s such a good key to real Christian living too; if more Christians would get this, they’d have a lot less habitual sin and evil in their lives! 


I also have 1 Corinthians 15:31 in my charge today and talk about us dying to self and living for Christ. ✝️๐Ÿ—ก️⚔️๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ“–


Also, my “Royal loyal” emphasis ties in well to that whole section Dad has on traitors, church forsaking, etc. ๐Ÿ‘‘

01/26 Daily Exhortation (Matt.6:11; Luke 11:3; Heb.3:13; 10:25)…


A 1:26 for 1/26…


Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.


Man was created in God’s image. Thusly, man is SPIRIT, SOUL, AND BODY to reflect the Principle of the Three. Man oft speaks of BODY, SOUL, AND SPIRIT. But this order is off. Why? Man focuses on the outward to inward (like how the Pharisees,

Profe$$ional Organized Religion, make the OUTSIDE of the cup clean, but are inwardly DIRTY). But God wants the spiritual first and onto the outward. Watch God’s order: 


1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.


⚠️๐Ÿ”ฅDaily Jesus Walk Alert๐Ÿ”ฅ⚠️ JOY UNSPEAKABLE AND FULL OF GLORY!! 

Last night I preached about the spirit, soul, and body and Tabernacle Typology and Sanctuary Symbolism. I resurrect my charge for today's date and haven't changed it one iota. And look what Jesus had in my charge? 1st Thessalonians 5:23. You can have your sin, betrayal, love of the world, filthy conversation, life of dishonour, anti-patriarchal, church-forsaking, lu$t for fame/fortune, celebrity-loving idolatry, crossless and crownless non-sober, Laodicean paths, and we will take the old paths (Jer. 6:16) DAILY JESUS WALK replete with daily signs confirming His word/favour. He is ALL I WANT OR NEED. From henceforth and FOREVER! 


We are to ASK, SEEK, AND KNOCK (per Matt. 7:7). We ask from the heart/spirit (2 Chron.1:11), we seek from the soul (Eccl. 7:28) , and we knock with our body. 


Adam begat sons after HIS OWN IMAGE. 


Genesis 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth…


We are still image-bearers of God to some extent: 


James 3:9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.


But much of that was lost during the fall.

It was Effaced but not Erased.

It is restored in Christ Jesus (Rom. 8:29, 2 Cor. 3:18, etc.). 


In our focus passage, man is given DOMINION over the beasts, etc. 


This is why a cherubim had 4 faces each:


The face of a man (see Ezekiel 1 and 10) as man is the king over the earth, the face of an eagle as the king of the fowls, the face of an ox as the king of the domestic animals, and the face of a lion as the king of beasts (Prov.29:29). 


[By the way, 29=The Voice of the Lord in Bible Numerics. The Bible is The King of Books.]


But, when man sinned, he handed the dominion back over to Satan (Matt. 4; Luke 4; 2 Cor. 4:4 and note the image of God in context)…

Since we can taste of the powers of the world to come (Heb. 6) and the Kingdom of God can be within us (Rom. 14:17; Luke 17:20, etc.) there is an aspect of walking in God’s Kingdom dominion even right now (1 John 3:1-3, etc.). 


Will you ๐Ÿซต walk as one with restored image and restored dominion today, or walk as a beast as defeated spiritually?
