Apparently a lot out there are confused about what Christian singles should do to get a godly spouse…
So I am compelled to make this post.
Yes, I am vehemently opposed to the dating game, and am VERY thankful that I was raised to be against it by my godly and WISE parents!
All throughout the ages, all throughout the Bible, and not until recent years (and it started in America, by the way) was there ever even such a thing as “dating”.
There was no such thing! Not even close.
Pure, touchless, men leading/initiating/wooing (Patriarchal) courtship is the BIBLICAL way.
Going steady, breaking up, going steady with someone else, breaking up, again and again only leads you into having a discontented spirit of unfaithfulness.
Divorce now comes VERY easy to someone who is already used to breaking up over and over. You were NOT created to have multiple partners/relationships, God gave Adam ONE wife (Eve). He didn’t have him try out a million different options and then see which one “magically” works out. You were not even created to have to experience heartbreaks as this is very unnatural, and it’s quite avoidable of you follow the Biblical way.
Lust driven relationships are a JOKE, and it’s actually forbidden in the Bible to even touch the opposite sex (1 Corinthians 7:1) before marriage!
So casual and careless dating around? A serious sin!
The feminist spirit pushes the whole “independent spirit” which leaves Women as Jezebels who are chasing men (sinful), seducing men (sinful), and in relationships that have zero accountability or God ordained rules (sinful).
God APPOINTS the spouse (like Rebekah for Isaac in Genesis 24). I believe in arranged marriages: BY GOD/ Patriarchy. And with your GODLY parent’s FULL approval and love and support. 🔥
Would you rather pick your spouse out or have God pick them out?
Who is wiser?
Exactly.
So, What do we do, Single?
We don’t date.
We pray, we trust God, we follow the Bible, the women let the MEN LEAD, we stay surrendered to God, we focus on God/eternal matters, we trust our godly Parent’s choices/prayers, and we stay FAR AWAY from taking LUST!
Charity gives.
Charity loves their future spouse and stays faithful to them alone.
