I stand amazed that I’ve been mediating on, and really enjoying the stirring fires of 1 Kings 18 and Elijah’s 63 word prayer, and have even been working on a song called “Let it be known” since yesterday.
I then shared that 1 Kings 18 section, only to see it here in my Dad’s charge!!!! Fire! ๐ฅ
And Dad even ends his charge with, “May the Fire of God descend upon your spiritual sacrifice!” ๐ฅ
Soo important! There is POWER in the name of Jesus!!! ๐ฅ

Genesis 4:26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.
Seth means appointed seed. When God’s seed (Christ per Gen. 3:15-16; Gal. 3:15-16 and His word per Luke 8:11) comes to fruition, men begin to PRAY.
Note the “LORD” is all-caps here, or the TETRAGRAMMATON or JHVH “Jehovah.” Calling upon the NAME of The LORD is a most powerful matter. We know with New Testament full revelation, that the name of the Lord is The LORD JESUS CHRIST:
1 Cor. 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours…

This AM, praying with family this AM, God literally has me pray (Eph. 6:18; Jude 1:20) and say, "I call upon the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ..."‼️ Little did I know that this was TODAY'S CHARGE THEME resurrected from yesteryear!
Leverage the Lord's Name!
Calling upon the Lord is calling upon His NETWORK, The GOOD GRID, The Captain of the Lord’s army, the Lord of Sabaoth (the Lord of Hosts) and all that His Kingdom entails. Intreating the Lord is Invoking His 411 Info Infrastructure, yea, Heaven's Hotline of the Divine Directory.
We take on the name of Christ as CHRISTIANS (Acts 11:26). To avouch something is to declare as fact or as a thing that can be proved. Calling upon the Name of the Lord avouches the Lord, and HE AVOUCHES YOU.
Deut. 26:17-18 Thou hast avouched the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:
26:18 And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments…
God “avouches” with affirmation signs. He answers with FIRE from above:
1 Kings 18:24 And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.
Psalm 18:3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Psalm 86:5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Psalm 116:17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
Isaiah 44:5 One shall say, I am the LORD'S; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
Isaiah 63:19 We are thine: thou never barest rule over them; they were not called by thy name.
Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered…
When this is quoted in Acts 2:21 and Romans 10:13, it says “saved.” Invoking the HIGH AND HOLY NAME Of The LORD JESUS CHRIST BRINGS deliverance and salvation. And Not just Jail-break, but Jesus Justification. Even the devils are subject unto us via the Name of Jesus (Luke 10:17).
Abraham: Genesis 12:8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Beth-el... There he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD.
Gen. 13:4 Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the LORD.
Gen. 21:33 And Abraham planted a grove in Beer-sheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God.
Brethren, THERE IS POWER IN JESUS’ NAME. Let us be like Abraham, the friend of God (James 2:23).
