Such deliverance and victory the Christians would have if they would just understand this more, and live by the Gospel DAILY! ✝️

Pretty great that my charge was also on Matthew 7:7, and the Lord had me randomly open to Matthew 7 that morning too! 

I love how Matthew (7 letters) 7:7 creates a 777 construction, thus sealing the matter with God’s scripture seal! 

And the Ask, Seek, and Knock= A 345 orderly sequence, and I thought Psalm 34:5 tied in well: 

“They looked unto him, and were lightened: And their faces were not ashamed.”

07/07 Daily Exhortation (Heb. 3:13; 10:25; Matt. 6:11; Luke 11:3).

  

Here on 7/7 is a 7:7 CONSTRUCTION for INSTRUCTION to follow. 

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you…

Note the Acronym here. ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK. “A” as in ASK, “S” as in SEEK, “K” as in KNOCK.  This planned providence of God reinforces ASK. To ask is to PRAY. To pray is to ask. Mnemonics from the North‼️ 

Watch the order here. The order is spirit, soul, and body. Inside Out. Core to the Crust. Sub-atomic to Surface. 

Man always gets this backwards, judging first by outward appearance and carnally. Many a book, many a sermon, has been on “body soul spirit” in the wrong order. Skin-deep, surface level scans are sensual but NOT SPIRITUAL. 

Watch the Bible birdie: 

1 Thessalonians 5:23 says, “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I PRAY God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 

The spirit is the HEART of man. 

Who is at the Cockpit of Your 🫵 Control Center⁉️ 

1 Corinthians 2 describes the deep things of a man to be his spirit and the Deep things of God to be God’s Spirit. 

Psalm 42:7 saith “Deep calleth unto deep…” One application is that our spirit calls unto the Spirit of God. 

2 Chronicles 1:11

And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine HEART, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast ASKED wisdom and knowledge for thyself... 

The heart ASKS. 

The soul SEEKS. 

Ecclesiastes 7:28 says, “Which yet my soul seeketh…” And Song of Solomon 3:2 says, “I will seek him whom my soul loveth…” 

Lastly, the body KNOCKS. 

The physical body would be used to “knock” on a door. We lift up holy hands in prayer per: 

1 Timothy 2:8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting…

Also, there is bowing knees before God: 

Ephesians 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ...

So, to ask, seek, and knock is to put one’s whole anatomy of SPIRIT, SOUL, and BODY into prayer. 

Hebrews 11:6 says a pleasing faith to God is one that DILIGENTLY seeks Him. That word “diligently” is removed from the NASV corrupt translation. Somebody doesn’t want us to DILIGENTLY seek the Lord! 

Fervently, Full-throttle, Whole-heartedly! 

THIS is The GOD WE SERVE! We owe HIM / JESUS our spirit, soul, and body in asking, seeking, and knocking this day, allowing deep to call unto Deep. 

Per Jesus, we are to pray / ask according to the word of God (John 15:7). 

Engage in Scripture-shaped supplication, Bible-based beseeching, Word-framed worship (John 4:24; Psalm 149:6).

There are 39 such 7:7 constructions in the Bible. This reminds us of the 39 books of the OT. Moreover, 3x9=27 for the NT.

The Bible is our PLUMBLINE to edify / build up. The “Word of His grace, which is able to build you up” (Acts 20:32) should be incorporated into your prayers.

One year on 7/7, my Missing Rib and I were heading out to eat. Praying aloud down the mountain, I prayed “Psalm 71:1 – be it unto Heather according to thy word and let her never be put to confusion.” I also prayed about a certain class of people being confounded. Fast forward to the restaurant. Our custom is that when they give us a numbered table, to read the corresponding Psalm. They gave us 71 so we read Psalms 71 together which also contains “confounded” and of course – Psalm 71:1!!! Word Winks and Divine Déjà Vu‼️ 

Pray the Plumbline and your day will be straight and your paths straight as God L😍VES to confirm His word. Here’s another 7:7…

Amos 7:7 Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.

Please, NEVER G🚫 a Day without diligent ASKING, SEEKING, and KNOCKING. If you are in sin, it will bounce off the ceiling (Ps. 66:18; John 9:31). Get things right with God and your brethren some time twixt NOW and NOW.
