Satisfied Yet???

The Grass Was Dead on the Other Side WARNING: Do NOT read this post if you plan on being proud and rejecting what you read! Hell will be hotter for you. DO CONTINUE to read if you have a soft and humble heart. This post contains a VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE.  Amen.  Isaiah 40:6-8, " The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." I always wanted to be a princess. All of my young girl dreams were filled with royal princes, fighting knights, dancing ballerinas, handsome kings, and beautiful queens. A dreamer by nature, with a wild imagination (runs in the family), I spent my youth dressing up, dancing, and playing “princess” games with my sisters. Castles were incredible to me

Give God ALL the credit!

Dear Dad’s (Randall Hartinger) BLESSING to the saints today. Enjoy!

WHO GETS THE CREDIT?

08/17 Daily (Heb.3:13;10:25;Matt.6:11;Luke 11:3) Exhortation.

For today, 8/17, here is an 8:17 “Construction for Instruction” (2 Tim. 3:16)…

**Deut. 8:17 And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.**

De 8:18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

De 8:19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

Again, an Israel-specific passage from whence we can draw dual application and admonitions (1 Cor. 10, etc.) as the “Israel of God” or New Testament church.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

James 1:17 says that every good and perfect gift is from ABOVE. God establishes the “lot in life.” God grants abilities/talents. Man cannot boast as if HE DID ANYTHING.

To illustrate, PRIDE IS THE ROOT OF SIN. See that middle word in PRIDE? It is the letter and word “I.” Same with SIN. Same with Goliath (he said I 5x for death, as did Lucifer in Isaiah 14, and Pharisees say I 5X in Luke 18; All have "I" in the center. On and on)...

Here is another 8:17 that sheds light on the topic:

Ecclesiastes 8:17 (KJB) Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea further; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.

God’s work is involved all around us, and man cannot fully apprehend/comprehend it. Thusly, for man to wax proud thinking “he alone” did such and such IS A SIN OF GREAT PRESUMPTION.

In our focus passage, when folks think they have accomplished something by their own power, they get proud and forget God. And. They ultimately perish.

God is “upholding all things by the word of His power.” (Heb.1:3). By Jesus do “all things consist.” (Col. 1:17).

The cursed “independent spirit” of our day thinks it doesn’t need God’s way, God’s words, God’s models, God’s revealed plans, God’s absolutes, etc.  Folks have a “better way.” Autonomy (a law unto one’s self) reigns this day, even among Christians. Some will grant some “lip service” here and there, but ultimately, Jesus is not Lord of their lives. This is axiomatic (self-evident) by what they love, speak, display, entertain themselves with, listen to, promote, endorse, like, etc.

It is God that “giveth us richly all things to enjoy” (1 Tim. 6:17).

Revelation 4:11 sums it up nicely: “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

Everything you have (which is lawful unto God) is from God and is to reflect back to God and give HIM pleasure, give HIM THE GLORY and THE HONOUR. Give credit to where credit is due today. Thank GOD for everything and glorify Him in everything we do.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

1000%, nay but INFINITE% *ALL* GLORY TO JESUS, -r <3
