On 8/3, to follow is an 8:3 verse Construction for Instruction (2 Tim.3:16)…

1 Samuel 8:3 (KJB) And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment.

Here is an akin 8:3… Job 8:3 (KJB) Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?

The question is rhetorical. THE ANSWER IS EMPHATICALLY “NO.” And a godly (like God) man/woman will not turn aside by being bribed with “benefits.” 

Profe$$ional Church today is turning a local “body” of believers into a business, which is harlotry. 

EVERY. $INGLE. TIME. PERIOD. And in every single time period. 

If one loves money, it will be obvious. If one loves God, it will be obvious to all. Look at this 8:3 construction. 

1 Corinthians 8:3 (KJB) But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

Exodus 23:8 And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.

1 Tim. 6 says that they that will to be rich fall into many hurtful lusts and temptations/snares which drown men in perdition. Judas became the son of “perdition” by betraying Jesus for the love of money. 

1 Cor. 5 says to not so much as eat with a “Brother” who is covetous. 

Friends, today, don’t turn aside after filthy lucre and pervert judgment and blind the eyes. LAY UP TREASURE ABOVE. Down here, watch what you LOVE. What you love most is your primary focus.
