This 12/29, Let’s DELVE in and MINE PLENTY from this 12:29…

Mark 12:29 (KJB)  And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord...

What is beautiful is that there are EXACTLY TWELVE 12:29 constructions in the Bible. This works out well as we appreciate more the Israel (and 12) emphasis of the Bible. 

Note that the FIRST OF ALL COMMANDMENTS begins with “Hear, O Israel…” ISRAEL. 

Ever wonder why you use a 12 inch foot? Ever wonder why there are 12 hours in a day and 12 in a night? Ever wonder why there are 12 months in a year? The SOVEREIGN GOD of the 12 TRIBES OF ISRAEL thrusts Himself onto the scenes AND ORDAINED IT. 

Why, there are even 12 racial distinctions upon the earth (4 per each son of Noah): 

Deuteronomy 32:8 When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

Personally, I wear a size 12 shoe. Over the years, My Sister Dollbaby Missing Rib has occasionally said I had BIG FEET. I nicely reminded her that I have a PERFECT FOOT (pun intended).   ;^) Ahem. Anywayz.

That GOLDEN CANDLESTICK in Sanctuary Symbolism and Tabernacle Typology points to the word of God. It has the highest branch of the candlestick (oft called the Menorah) having 12 ornaments. Why? The backbone of the light of the scripture is the 12 tribes of Israel. This is the DIVINE SPINE of the candlestick. The oracles of God were given to the Jews (Romans 3:2). This is also why “oracles of God” is mentioned in Hebrews 5 and VERSE TWELVE. Every writer of the Bible is a JEW/HEBREW. Moreover, the “Israel of God” (Gal.6:16) or the church is called the PILLAR AND GROUND of the TRUTH (1 Tim.3:15)…

It is of note that Paul’s epistle to the HEBREWS (Israel and Israel of God/Church) has one of these TWELVE 12:29 constructions: 

Hebrews 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

As we fear God, we must give proper weight to the things in the Bible to which HE GIVES WEIGHT. One of them is the number 12!

The church is built upon the FOUNDATION (Eph.2:20) of the Jewish apostles/prophets: 

1 Corinthians 12:29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?

There were 12 major apostles. Modern day non-male, non-Shemite, non-Jewish “apostles” and “prophets” are deceived and deceiving others. Those offices are long gone. There are still pastors, teachers, and evangelists (Eph. 4). 

God did something for the 12 tribes of Israel at 12 midnight in this 12:29 in Exodus: 

Exodus 12:29  And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

God defended the 12 tribes of Israel: 

Deuteronomy 12:29 When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land...

One of those tribes was Benjamin: 

1 Chronicles 12:29 And of the children of Benjamin, the kindred of Saul, three thousand: for hitherto the greatest part of them had kept the ward of the house of Saul.
