The Spirit of Antichrist

The spirit of antichrist is already in the world…

04/03 Daily Exhortation (Matt.6:11; Luke 11:3; Heb.3:13; Heb.10:25)…

What can we see this 4/3 in the following 4:3? 

1 John 4:3 (KJB) And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

By the way, see that 4:3 construction? John wrote the 43rd book of the Bible (the Gospel of John). John is the only one to use "antichrist" and John writes Revelation which fulfills antichrist's reign. John's last verse written is Rev. 22:21 which cross-sums to 2+2=4 and 2+1=3 or 43... Yes, Jesus thought of EVERYTHING.... Back to our focus passage of 1 John 4:3...

Let’s talk about the SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST for a stretch. Even as John the Baptist was the FORERUNNER to pave the way for Jesus to come, the spirit of antichrist paves the way for antichrist to come. 

2 Thess. 2: 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Note that antichrist (the man of sin, the son of perdition, that Wicked) will sit IN THE TEMPLE OF GOD and say that he is God. Thusly, the spirit of antichrist is coming to the temple of God (individual Christians and local churches) to try and infiltrate posing as God. Also, of note in this passage is that the “mystery of iniquity doth already work” which parallels with “spirit of antichrist…even now IS IT IN THE WORLD” in our focus passage. 

Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High…

This is what literal antichrist shall do with the tribulation saints. But in mystery fulfillment, as a forerunner, the spirit of antichrist is WEARING OUT THE SAINTS RIGHT NOW. 

Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them…

There is a powerful “antichrist” push in this last days generation. Everything around you screams ANTI-CHRIST. It is an all out war. The Bible teaches that Jesus in you is GREATER than this antichrist spirit in the world (1 John 4:4). Be thou encouraged greatly despite the great falling away among the churches that have their candlesticks removed...

1 John 2:18 (note the 18 or 6+6+6) Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

How about YOU this day? Will you be the EXCEPTION to this GENERATION? If the world doesn’t think you to be ODD, you are not walking with GOD (1 Peter 4:4). Resist that spirit of antichrist and be “he which now letteth” restraining grace vessel and salt/light this day REGARDLESS, -r <3
