GOD IS IN THE DETAILS. The Devil wants you to DISREGARD THE DETAILS. 

06/06 Daily Exhortation (Heb.3:13 & 10:25; Matt.6:11; Luke 11:3)…

For 6/6, let’s be admonished/exhorted from this 6:6 to follow…

2 Samuel 6:6 (KJB)  And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.

Backstory. God wanted the ark of the covenant to move transported via staves by the Kohathites alone (and they themselves were even forbidden to touch it or die). A bad move on David’s part, but the ark is being transported by a cart (seems much easier; WRONG). This is a fatal mistake. Uzzah, seemingly noble and well-meaning to most, wants to “help God out” by steadying the ark after the oxen stumbled and the ark was shaking. GOD DROPS HIM DEAD FOR THIS INFRACTION. God doesn't NEED OR WANT OUR "HELP" contrary to His word/commandments.

Exodus 37:5 And he put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.

Numbers 4:15 And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.

Watch the following verses after our focus passage: 

2Sa 6:7 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.

2Sa 6:8 And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzzah: and he called the name of the place Perez-uzzah to this day.

2Sa 6:9 And David was afraid of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me?

Let’s unpack a bit. For decades, we have used this passage to teach that GOD DOESN’T NEED OUR HELP. For example, look at all these corrupt Bible translations coming out of our ears. Note the 6:6 construction. This points, in God’s Divine Providence and Sovereignty upon the chapter/verse divisions, to the 66 books of the Bible. The ark points to the word of God as well. In it was Aaron’s almond branch rod that buddeth (resurrection power and rod of authority and pointing to the 66 ornaments of the almond golden candlestick, etc.). Also, the golden pot of manna (pointing to the word of God and showing up first in the 66th chapter of the Bible in Exodus 16) was there. Also, in the ark, were the tables of stone commandments and thusly again pointing to the WORD OF GOD. A threefold cord not quickly broken of attestation to the word of God, and Jesus, the Word of God. 

Remember, the SACRED SCRIPTURES are not to be toyed with. A Bona Fide Bride local church (pillar and ground of the truth) is not to be toyed with. Why? It is born of the word of God and is a candlestick in its own right (see Revelation 1-5, etc.). Oxen points to labourers in the word and doctrine (pastors and teachers in the local church). Just because oxen stumble does not grant one the right to operate in an UNAUTHORIZED FASHION thinking you are helping God out. And just because God judges it severely as He reserves the right to do so, does not give the House of David the right to be displeased with the Lord!!!!

God has PINPOINT, PRECISE, laser accurate attention to detail and not breeching authority!!! This modern generation has about near ZERO FEAR OF GOD and desecrating the sacred scriptures with everything from rock and roll to cool/hip vernacular to “lol” non-sober approaches to the Holy Bible and its many holy rules. 

Watch what God does in Divine clues. Uzzah sounds very much like Uzziah. There is only an “I” (hint hint) added into the center of Uzzah. Watch what UZZIAH DID: 

2 Chronicles 26:19 Then Uzziah was wroth, and had a censer in his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar.

Uzziah had NO RIGHT to touch this incense. That last warning in the Bible is YOU DO NOT ADD To NOR TAKE AWAY FROM THE BIBLE. This modern generation of “ANY-VERSION-GOES-ISM” is cursed beyond belief. Even the so-called King James only believers promote unholy wicked and vile living left and right. SHAME. SICK SICK SICK 666. ‼️🙏 Mercy, Lord. 

Stop thinking you can HELP GOD OUT and getting into areas you OUGHT NOT. 1 Peter 3 warns a believing woman who is married to an unbeliever to simply be chaste in modest apparel with a meek and quiet spirit (BINGO)  and submission (submission to the Lord of course and not sin/wickedness) and God will allow a man to be won WITHOUT THE WORD. Why? A VIRTUOUS woman is a POWERFUL WOMAN. That virtue that went out from Jesus’ hem was POWER. We have counseled several women to do this (1 Peter 3) over the years, and they never do. They run their mouths, strut their stuff, and kick their husbands to hell. Sad.
