Satisfied Yet???

The Grass Was Dead on the Other Side WARNING: Do NOT read this post if you plan on being proud and rejecting what you read! Hell will be hotter for you. DO CONTINUE to read if you have a soft and humble heart. This post contains a VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE.  Amen.  Isaiah 40:6-8, " The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." I always wanted to be a princess. All of my young girl dreams were filled with royal princes, fighting knights, dancing ballerinas, handsome kings, and beautiful queens. A dreamer by nature, with a wild imagination (runs in the family), I spent my youth dressing up, dancing, and playing “princess” games with my sisters. Castles were incredible to me

You can Bank on the Bible

Dear Dad’s (Randall Hartinger) teaching today. BLESSED!

YOU CAN BANK ON THE BIBLE. God’s WORD is ESTABLISHED…

07/25 DAILY EXHORTATION (Heb. 3:13; 10:25; Matt. 6:11; Luke 11:3)…

Here’s a 7:25 for this 7/25…

2 Samuel 7:25 (KJB)  And now, O LORD God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish it for ever, and do as thou hast said.

This is DAVID praying to God. David means “Beloved.” He is a type/symbol of Christ. The House of David is established forever (versus the House of Saul spiraling southward in apostasy). More importantly, God’s WORD is established forever.

Even as Jesus (the Word of God) and a bone of Him could not be broken (John 19:36), the “scriptures cannot be broken” (John 10:35).

As David so aptly penned:

Psalm 119:89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

TURN OFF THAT TV, AND PICK UP A KJV. Put down that Android and grab the Authorized Version. Only the COUNSEL OF THE LORD will stand in the final analysis. Instead of the distorted view of reality from the hell-i-vision, try this 20/20 vision:

2 Chronicles 20:20 “…Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”

When I was a child, I brought some gold out of Egypt B.C. (Before Christ). That gold came in the form of lessons I learned before I even knew I was learning a lesson!!! One example among so many is that I delivered newspapers for a stretch on my bicycle. I forgot to leave a newspaper for one older lady on my route. The next day, I decided I would “make up” for it and give her YESTERDAY’S newspaper coupled with today’s newspaper. She, with pursed lips and creased forehead, called me to her porch for a stern lecture I will never forget. She said, “Young man, YESTERDAY’S NEWSPAPER does me NO GOOD TODAY.” “Yes Ma’am.” I walked off tail-tucked and ashamed, demotivated and depleted. But with some years under my belt of truth, I now look back and think that IF IT’S OLD ONE DAY LATER, THEN WHO CARES TO READ IT? Let’s read that which NEVER DIES. THE PURE, UNADULTERATED, INFALLIBLE, INERRANT WORDS OF THE LIVING GOD.

Every. Single. Time. Period. And in every single time period.

Every single prophecy in the Bible has come true and WILL COME TRUE. Bar none. The prophesied “falling away” is RIGHT HERE – RIGHT NOW. The weak-kneed lukewarm church is RIGHT HERE – RIGHT NOW. On and on.

Here is one more 7:25 for today and one of my most oft-quoted for decades now:

Ecclesiastes 7:25 (KJB) I applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason of things, and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness…

This generation, with all their technology, gimmicks, gadgets, gizmos, internet, etc. is one of the most Bible-blockheaded groups you could possibly imagine. If every American went out on their front porch and blew the dust off of their Bibles simultaneously, the dust cloud would be so big, we’d all choke to death! A lazy, lethargic, lackadaisical, laid-back, Laodicean church age never applies their hearts to know, search, seek wisdom and reason or to exercise their senses to discern good and bad with the strong meat of the word (see Hebrews 5). This passive generation needs to get back to an aesthetic PAPER Bible. Of course technology should be used for good, but something is quite amiss. OLD PATHS (Jer. 6). Put the phone DOWN a while. You won’t die. Let the North Wind of the Holy Ghost rustle those leaves a bit. Ahhh. PAPER.

The “water of the word” (Eph. 5) doesn’t come via osmosis. There is no substitute for sweat. Our focus passage is interesting to me. First off, there are EXACTLY 25 “7:25” constructions in the Bible. A chunk of those 7:25’s are regarding SACRIFICES unto God (Lev. 7:25; Num.7:25; 1 Kings 7:25, etc.). Perfect, because 5 in Bible numerics points to DEATH. The altar of sacrifice which was to be ever-burning as sweet savour aroma of sacrifice to God – this altar was 5 cubits by 5 cubits or 25 square cubits. When we live our lives as a daily sacrifice to God, we are APPLYING what we know. The following words/phrases are 25 times exact in the Bible: “jewels,” “humble,” “follow me,” “fulness,” “burdens,” and “tempted.” And, my personal favorite is that “verily verily” (meaning TRULY, TRULY) is 25 times and all are found in John. To be a living sacrifice unto God, to be His jewels, we must humble ourselves, submitting to His command to “Follow me”, casting all our burdens unto Him even when tempted, and walk in His fulness agreeing with him verily verily. The Bride of Christ (typified by John) PRESSES INTO Christ’s bosom, presses into the pages of Holy Writ, presses in to hear the heartbeat of God. The Printing Press gives us something to PRESS INTO by Providence.

You can BANK ON YOUR BIBLE. Read it, live it, love it, cherish it, magnify it, glorify it, let it study YOU today, church. –r <3
