This 1/7, watch this 1:7 of heaven…
Ecclesiastes 1:7 (KJB) All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.
Rivers run into the sea, evaporation brings vapors into clouds, they blow back inland and over the mountains, and the cycle repeats.
Hmmmm. Looks like Solomon had his hand on the pulse of the HYDROLOGIC CYCLE loooong before scientists of modernity did.
You see, science means “knowledge.” Science is a BIBLE WORD. In 1 Timothy 6 it warns to avoid “oppositions of science FALSELY SO CALLED.” In short, just because something out yonder says “Science” doesn’t mean IT IS.
Solomon penned the following 1:7 as well:
Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
A necessary precondition for intelligibility/rational thought IS GOD. Even atheists are KLEPTO-CRYPTO-THEISTS who borrow from OUR worldview in order to try and argue against it. The Proof for God is that apart from God, there would be NO PROOF, no grammar, no arguments, no logic, zilch, nada. To set out and disprove God is a self-defeating lesson in futility.
Conscience means “with knowledge.” Everybody has a conscience (some are defiled and seared to the point of reprobation which is a whole ‘nother teaching).
So, when in 1611, the King James Bible warned of “science falsely so-called” this was before the pseudo-science of Darwin/Huxley, and of say, German Rationalism, and the so-called science of textual criticism. GOD TIMED IT JUST RIGHT.
The Bible is chock laden with scientifically advanced principles… When Moses ordered to use “running water” for cleaning, this was way ahead of the world. When Moses ordered using a hyssop branch, this was ahead (hyssop has an antibacterial agent). When Moses ordered to quarantine sickness, this was way ahead. When Moses ordered the burying of waste, this was way ahead.
When Job says that God seals up every hand, this was long before the understanding that every fingerprint design is different.
Job 38:31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
Orion is a BOUND CONSTELLATION and Pleiades is called a LOOSE CONSTELLATION. How did Job know this? Simply put, God inspired the writers. There are kuhzillions of examples.
Lastly, what if Darwin got it all BACKWARDS? What if man started out with the GLORY OF GOD, and then sinned, and devolved into beast and started downward losing his grip (opposing thumb – metaphorically-speaking)? Bingo.
Psalm 49:20 Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
Psalm 73:22 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
Ecclesiastes 3:18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
The 666th chapter of a KJB has: Ecclesiastes 7:29 Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.
So, death came upon man… Man was created 6th day (6=man in Numerics), but backslid to the 5th day (when God created beasts; 5=death in Numerics) and DIED like a BEAST.
Satan takes on the form of a BEAST to tempt as well. Jesus, our Saviour, was born in manger as the LAMB OF GOD and is coming back as the LION of Judah. In short, He condescended to us beasts to restore our glory.
Study science and be not afraid, but “science falsely so called” should be rejected this day. Enjoy God’s creation, both earth and heaven, this 1/7, -r <3
